has called once a day for past three days

has called every 3rd or 4th day for past 2 months. Sounds like call is coming from a car.

Caller ID comes up as "FOP" (which, I assume, probably means "Fraternal Order of Police").  I did not answer (my usual response if the call looks like solicitation of any kind).  I particularly resent solicitation of this sort, as it seems to me to count on the somewhat fearful/respectful response of a lot of people to "the law" and I have read that a lot of scammers take advantage of this.

I received a call from the this number belonging to the Colorado Metroplex FOP earlier today. I'm really sick of these calls! I told the representative (Jose, if that's his real name!) quickly when I realize who they were that I couldn't donate. Well the representative WOULDN'T take NO for a answer. After the representative pushed the issue again a second time I hung up on him.

I called the number back intending to file a complaint with a supervisor but there was no one there to answer (surprise!) . They did leave a 800 number (1-800-704-1646)  however for their Customer Service, and it has a Do Not Call option available. We'll see how it goes.

I don't know how many times I have told the Fraternal Order of Police not to call me.  I do not donate to organizations that use paid solicitors.  The FOP if that is truely who they are or any organization that use these professional solicitors only get 10-20% of the funds raised.  That is why the callers do not take no for an answer.  Thank goodness I can block the number.  These callers for the FOP are the worse ones.
