These people have called me 45 times in 3 days. When I asked them if they thought this was excessive, I got the standard, "I apologize for the inconvenience."

Something is very wrong with this...

These guys are relentless. They were calling me for about 5 days. Every hour on the half hour I'd get a call from these people. Then the calls stopped for a few days. And then again with the hourly calling! If you call the number you get this recording that asks if you want to stop being called. It'll ask for your number than tell you to wait 72 hours (or 24 more calls!).

Damn [***]. Have you guys applied to nursing programs? I think this college is giving out our phone numbers.

I inqured for info on massage therapy. The dumb thing is, when I answer they hang up. Thanks for telling about the thing to get them to stop calling. I'm going to do that right now. I don't want to give someone my money if they can't respect me and tell me who the hell they are when they call me. :o)

i've been getting them all day too!!!  so does anyone know how to stop these idiots?!

Yep me too, 10 times a day for the past 3 weeks, so F***** annoying.

i also inquired about everest and every since i have been receiving those calls everyday. glad i didnt give my home number too.

I just signed up lastnight 04/17/2008 for info in the medical field with Everest College and I've been getting the calls every hour since 08:00 PT this morning.

I have never answered the phone with they call.. But its nice to know a school is so bananas. Won't be going there. 9 calls in 7 hours is too much.

i just inquired about an hour ago and i have gotten 5 calls from them already!!! i wont be attending there if they hound u like that!!

I signed up online to get info sent to me and within 5 minutes I got my first phone call.  I knew I should have given a fake number.  Damn.

funny how someone here mentioned that they got the calls after signing up with Everest College. i just signed up with Western Career College. makes sense now!

Yes they keep calling. What can we do to stop this madness?
I don't know for sure but is this not called Harassment?
Maybe we should start passing out this number to every sales
company. Give them a taste.

OMG!!! the calling is non-stop and driving me insane!!!! So i checked the history to see the times that they called... and it is literally every half hour from 8am until 7-8pm!!  And i did pick up.. once... and all i heard was a hang-up!  This makes me rethink the whole idea of putting my contact information online and submitting it!  R I D I C U L O U S ! ! !

This num calls me every hour on the hour glad I only gave my cell....but why the heck don't they say ne thing when u pick up? Why the call?

I got a call from these guys every hour of every day of the week (except sunday) for the past 2 weeks.  At first i ignored it, and if you pick up... nobody answers!  So i called the number back today and asked the lady to place me on their DNC list.  She then kept trying to talk me into talking to an admissions counselor which i complied to... but while on hold i hung up.  Didn't want to deal with them anymore than i had to.  I've been call free for 3 hours now.  It's great.  JUST CALL THEM BACK AND TELL THEM TO REMOVE YOU.

OMG these guy keep calling me 11 times a day.  When I call to tell them that I never applied for Everest College all the say is I will take your number out of our system.  But get this...My number was never in thier system to begin with..

Dude, I just did that "calling to get my name removed from the call list" thing, and they are still relentless when you're on the phone with them. They can't jsut take a simple, "get me off the list". They have to ask you why, and when I told them I applied to UEI, they still wanted to shove comparison information down my throat. lame.

OMG i was getting calls beginning at 7am, then it would continue....8am, 9am, 10am....then 4pm, 5pm, and then even 7:45pm! It would be all day long. I looked at the call history on my phone and it would be 12-15 calls per day! I didn't know who it was because they weren't leaving messages so I kept hitting "ignore" on my phone. I was scared to answer it or call the # back because it was freaking me out that someone would be calling me 12+ times a day without leaving a message. I finally called them today and an automated message comes up asking if you want information on Everest College or if you want to "be removed from the call list". I hit that option and complained and they acted surprised. Then they said "since you are interested in going to school at Everest we are dedicated in getting this information to you". I told them they should leave a message or just mail me something--and he said that they don't know what to send me until they talk to me to find out what information I want. I finally talked to 3 people and had them send me something in the mail. The corporate office transferred me to the San Francisco campus who was shocked that the corporate office was caling me repeatedly and apologized. Though, they have no control of the corporate office calling me. If they call again I will answer and demand being taken off the list if they are on the phone. I'm just glad it's not some creepy guy breathing heavily on the phone!
