This is The Law Office of Mitchell D. Bluhm. They are a debt collector. I have someone's old phone and they call me all the time.

They say it's the Law Office of Mitchell Bluhm collecting a medicail dept they bought from another collection company. Very very rude told them they had the wrong number and called me back 5 times stating they know it's me they are looking for and that I'm just saying it's a wrong number so they wont call. It really is the wrong number! They tried to get personal info from me but I wouldn't give them anything. They then said that if I don't work with them and pay this bill (which again is not mine they have the wrong number) that they will take me to court. They now call me on my cell phone about 10 times a day. I've tried everything I can to have them stop calling but no luck! Now I have their number blocked on my cell phone so it doesn't ring but they leave messages saying they will call the company I work for and talk to my boss to get the money taken out of my paycheck. AGAIN this is NOT ME they are calling for! I don't know what else to do called the BB and made several complaints. Still the calls come in day after day!

Called me after 8pm, I thought was illegal, she said she can up til 8pm in her time zone which was central. That doesn't make much since, so someone from California can call Florida until 10pm at night?

Annoying number

I received a call from this company and was immediately pushed to provide them with identification and told that the call may be recorded. No explanation of who they were, they just continually refused to identify themselves telling me they they couldn't tell me who they were unless I confirmed my identity first. When I asked for their contact information so I could call them back, they woman blurted out something about 'Mitchell', that they would keep calling, and then the hung up. A reverse search of the phone number brought me here.
I called the hospital where I am under treatment and they told me that my account had been referred to this company by mistake and they were contacting them to pull it back.
I've placed a complaint with the hospital letting them know that this vendor's actions are unacceptable and that it's not ok to outsource to people without investigating their business practices. As a cancer patient and a widow of a cancer patient, I've seen how vicious these bill collectors are even to people under treatment. They are true bottom feeders.

Events like this allows you to sue their pants off. If you get this problem again, sue them.

Considering that the time limit to sue for FDCPA violations is 1 year, I think it is way too late for that advice since that person posted here 6 years ago.

By the way I am getting those same calls and I do know that no collection company can call your place of employment and speak to anyone about any personal debt.  They have to get a judgement and a writ of garnishment and that needs to arrive to your payroll department and they handle from there.  But they definitely can not speak to anyone at your place of employment.  Especially if you tell them not to.  I know all this because I hired an attorney to help with a debt collector.  So I just wanted to share that information for anyone who did not know.
