Received a text message from a private
    sprint phone at wfb10@sprintpcs. It
identified itself as Wells Fargo. When
    I called the number  305-485-2192, a
voice message said my Wells Fargo card
was limited and asked me to enter my 16
digit card number. I may have fallen for
the rouse had I a wells fargo card. I'm sure
the line of question would have include my
card's expiration date and security code.
If you get a phishing message like this,
contact your local PD and FBI.

I received two text from 1stcug@sprint.com with a phone # of 305-485-2192. The first at 3:29 am and the second at 3:31 am on 042912. The texts also says 1st CU of Gainesville. I do not do business with this place if indeed it is a real business. I called the # and it says that the limit on my debit card has been limited due to some technical errors. This a scam please report this to your banking institution asap!.

I am changing my Sprint email address.  When I hit save it shows it came from another sprintpcs.com address.  The rep does not know how to help...  I had to tell her to change my email address with Sprint since they cannot block the 1cug@sprintpcs.com spam mail.  I do not even use e-mail on my phone!  I am still on the phone with Sprint and got disconnected.

I hit the forward button to get the number from the text and Spring told me to use that number, 6245, to send a text to Sprint at 9999, typed in block 6245 and got a message from Sprint that it was now blocked. Hopefully it was the real number!  BTW: the Spring rep gave me the wrong information. I found it online: http://support.sprint.com/support/article/Blo ... 20091103-160141

    Fed up with spam
I just recieved the text  from customers@messaging.sprintpcs.com. It states:
    National Bank.
    Please call 1 305 485 2192.

When I called the # it said my debit card had been limited due to technical difficulties please press one to reactivate my card. When I pressed #1 it asked for my card #. I do not do business with a National Bank, nor do I even have a debit card. SO tired of scammers trying to get information!

I have gotten 2 of these text messages in the past 4 days.  I am on Sprint.  One message said it was from csr1@sprint.com and told me to call 305-485-2192 1st CU of Gainesville.  The second one said it was from inf@sprint.com, and told me to call First Credit Union at the same number. I read recently that you can forward text spam to 7726, which spells "spam" on a regular phone keypad, so I am going to forward both of them.  The 7726 number is supposed to work for most wireless carriers in the US.
