No Message Left when called so I called the number back and got a recording saying it's, National Fire Insurance Company of Pittsberg, PA

they just called me and said they were with US bank.

No message left - they've called every business day for nearly a week, which is annoying b/c I'm travelling internationally and the calls are coming in at all hours.

I looked up this number and it is a mobile number from Florida.  They claim to be from US Bank, however  I called US Bank and they said that they would never call and ask to verify information on an account.  Which, is exactly what this man tried to do as he was trying to sell me some kind of insurance through US Bank and give me a gas card as well.  US Bank is alerting everyone of about this number.

Will not stop calling me.  Have called me about 1 1/2 times daily for a month. Between 8- 10 PM usually. I call the number back and get a poorly recorded message that allows me to opt out of future calls.  The message states that it might take 2 business days to update the database.  I have entered my number in the opt out category at least 15 times, and always confirm that the number entered was recorded.  Doesn't matter.

They are calling on behalf of Nat' Union Fire Insurance of Pittsburgh PA, another firm that gets a lot of low marks from consumers.

I just got a phone call from this company asking me to verify information. They told me they were with US Bank. I believed them because they knew which bank I was with, my name and address. However, once I looked at the caller id I suspected something, so I googled the phone number and read info. here. I'm so glad this website exists. Thank you to all the ones who posted here. I almost went along with the company. I even gave them my date of birth and was at the point where I was talking to the supervisor to verify my info. I'm so glad I read the info. on this website just in time.

This number has been appearing on my caller ID for the last week and least 2-3 times a day.  I was finally home when they called this last time.  We are on the No Call list, which I pointed out and they told me US Bank authorized the call.  The woman stated she has to verify info (address, DOB, insurance holder info) first before she tells us why she is calling.  I hung up on her and they called back 2 hours later wanting to verify my info again.

I have called it back many times and selected the opt out #3 - to be placed on the do not call list, and that has not worked.
I have selected the Not Interested option #2 to have the calls stop and that hasn't worked.
I have NOT selected the #1 option to have them call me AGAIN for details on their unique offer.
I saw omn the news recently that these auto generated calls are becoming illegal and have to stop.
I'm waiting with baited breathe (NOT)

they've been calling here for the past couple of  months, I work from  home a lot and they call several times during the day.  I answered once and the person said they were from usbank.  now that I know its a scam, I've been answering.  I keep an airhorn next to the phone and hit them with that once the person gets on the phone.  I won't keep them from calling, but it can't feel good in their ears!!

I too have been getting phone calls from GCS with the number as follows (305) 587-2005, they ask if I am available I ask them who is this they're reply is that we cannot say until we know we have the correct person.  I tell them do not call my telephone number again and that I am on the National Do Not Call List that I will turn them into the state of California of which I have done, I have informed my family members if they should call when they're home to ignore the phone calls from GCS I don't know what can be done about this.
