I had received a earlier call from 484-589-5521. Out of curiosity I dialed that number and was immediately invited to leave a message at box 333. So I hung up. A few seconds later, I got 2 calls from 305-587-2137. When I answered the 2nd call with "Hello," I got the familiar robocall moment of silence. So I hung up.  These numbers are connected to the same scam artist, so don't answer.

I received a call from this number.
I forwarded the call and as soon as I did it called back twice more.
I answered on the third time.
The guy on the other end of the phone just kept repeating Hello? Hello? So I hung up.
I am simply putting this number on my blocked numbers list with Verizon.

They have called me before. This call showed Caller ID as "Security Promo." The installer of this home secrity in the SE region is Power Home Technologies. The companies (Monotronics - monitoring; Power Home - installer) are reputable companies but the telemarketer is not (my number is on DoNotCall list). Fortunately the FAA made a Declaratory Ruling in May 2013 (Adopted: April 17, 2013) that "sellers" (generally the beneficiary of the call) can be held liable for the actions of third-party telemarketers - so you don't have to know specifics of who made the call. Instead of complaining, try sharing useful, identifying information on sites like this and take the bums to court with a "Warrant in Debt." Share the Caller ID information, the sales pitch, the product/service being offered, etc. Sue the sellers to encourage them to cut off their telemarketers and clean up their act, preferably in Small Claims Court. The FCC sets a $500 penalty guideline per violation - you can find descriptions of violations on your state government websites. If they call before 8am and after 9pm, that's another violation. Go for it, make these robocalls so painful they stop calling.

Get even and waste their time. Keep scheduling appointments at times when you will not be home. They'll probably remove you really quick then!
