Called me at 2:50 pm, I answered on the second ring but they must have hung up because my phone said I wasn't on the line with anyone.

Called and didn't respond to hello thn just hung up

same...call and no one there.  since no one every response when answering...its probably a bot cateloging phone numbers for future telemarketing.

no message left on my voice mail. Just a listing of options. Caller did not ID themselves.. I just listened to the options and hung up without connecting to any of he options and will not call this number back again...I do not  want to be contacted in any way by anyone from this number

They called my cell phone. I never answer a call when the number is not familiar. Why would anybody?

Our son got this call, but he spoke to someone and they claim to be from the FBI.  As some mentioned they were trying to sell security systems.  In our son's case they started to ask for sensitive information and stating he need to pay $ and/or show up in court.  He hung up at that point.  
He is in the military and hasn't been in the state that they claim he supposedly did the crime.
I guess they figured out that most of us either hung up, didn't answer, and they needed a different tactic to get people's attention.

As they were calling I found this page. Answered and immediately hung up.

FBI reports a break in every 7 minutes.... Blah blah blah.... Press 9 to be removed.... Didn't work called twice within the same hour....
