hp locate a private investigation firm, just a recording won't leave a real message. calls all the time . always when I can't answer. But no answer when I call back

I just got a call from the same number today...he was talking about some private investigation and to call back to help out... I assume it's just spam.

Debt Collector for debts that should not be collected (Bankruptcy as one example) are rude and illegal in there methods

If this call comes to your vonage line, this is a scam run by Vonage to bill you for over useage of minutes of plan

Clearly, a scam.  No legitimate business would conduct itself in that way.

HP Locate, gives different names of the caller but leaves "urgent, time sensitive" message sounding almost hysterical.  Gives call back numbers 1-888-331-1438 and 1-888-331-1437.  Got two calls within an hour from them.  One call claimed to be a private investigator contracted to reach me regarding a case.  I did not call them back.  I think they are using phones from different states as this business is out of Texas.  Research says they record your phone calls illegally (without informing you) or claiming to record for customer service purposes.

I received a call from this number this morning. Same gig, HP Locate had my phone number, blah, blah.  I knew it was BS so I hung up before the rest of the recorded message could play.  My caller ID identified them as Pactel, Inc.
