Got an email from State Investigation Department.

I got an email saying that it was the State Investigation Department as well contacted a lawyer

I have recieved calls and emails from this number that are threatening me with lawsuits and want personal information they identify themselves as state investigation department but when I ask them for the court documents and let them know I had an attorney that would like to se the papers the phone was hung several times I believe this to be a scam they also tried to tell me my ss number was locked or frozen whatever that means

i received an email from them today and states that i am going to be sued if i dont call them back, i will not call them, but i did send an email back asking for this information that they claim they have, it is probably a debt collector, i will wait to see if they call me instead of an email

I just got a message from them telling me that I could go to jail for asking for a cash advance from U S cash advance. But i don't have a job and have not ever had a job. So why would cash advance give me cash? They would not. Just please let me know if this is fake. Thank you

They said I could go to jail. For something I did not do which was get an cash advance from U. S. cash advance. I don't have a job and have never worked so I could not get a cash advance even if I tried. i need to know if this is fake. I have PTSD and this is freaking me out. Please let me know. marie

caller advised name alvin scott but he is clearly a foreigner and says its a legal matter. calls and leave msgs at my work number now sayig its important i will be arrested if not returning call within 24 hrs.

same people are scams. don't believe it. my husband is a FBI agent, and the same people calling from 305-999-7327 are India scam people.

Got an email just like the rest but they had my address and S's #

Received Email saying that Susan Anderson, an investigator with the state was investigating me for fraud. Also stated my ssn was frozen whatever that means.

scanned all over the other comments and it matches up with the email i got so im guessing its a fraud all in its self

This person emailed me too. They are big time scammers so I called them every five minutes for three days straight to annoy them & they sent me to threatening emails about sending me to jail.  I said I was reporting them to local police and my lawyer for them having my stolen information.  Have not heard back from them.  Do your research on these phone numbers and don't get scared to curse someone out!!!

I recieved the almost exact email today in my spam folder, although the investigators name is Kathy Williams.  If this was a legal collection agency, they would not send an email to you.  They also would not give so much detail in the email.  So I just trash these emails since these people think we are too stupid to figure out they are scamming us.

received almost the same email. I sent them a message requesting the loan information, amount, date of loan, and all contract information. They answered with an email stating that this information would only be sent to me after I settled the account. so should I take them serious? I do not remember getting a loan. Just want to make sure no one else has my info and has gotten one and whether it will hurt me or not. they said I could be arrested if I did not hanld this matter out of court.

India scammers.

I tell them they have the wrong number and have reached beef and cattle co.  Then I say I slaughter cows for a living.  They stop calling ;)
