It's a computer calling you. I've been getting calls from it for a year or so and every time I get a call from them it becomes more and more real. The first call I got from it sounded like a computer, but now it sounds like a real voice and now the computer knows how to respond to what you say and ask. Most often it is "James" from a home security company, but has identified itself as other things from what I've read online. Wants to get your credit card number.

called it back and a message told me it was for a free 100$ walmart or target gift card

Called my home phone and didn't leave a message. I called it back and it was an automated message from someone claiming to be from the Walmart & Target rewards center and to press a number to find out how to claim a $100 gift card. I was skeptical, but curious, so I pressed the number and got a live voice, saying his name was Josh. He then asked for my name and when I didn't answer, he said it again. Clearly not a computer. I hung up.

Yep - i called the number back and the automated response said it was for $100 Walmart gift card.  When I pressed "1" to redeem I was placed on hold too long.  I wanted to know how they got my number and to remove it from its database.

Calls regularly and hangs up before the voicemail activates. I do not welcome these unsolicited calls.

I hate these [***].  they need to go eat a bag of dicks and die.  fyyff!!!!

Didn't leave message, missed calls twice in a day.  Called it back (thank you *67) and it's a robot saying it's a $100 Walmart gift card line.  Dude.  Does the Do Not Call list mean nothing to anyone?!

Same. "James" from a "home security company" looking for "model homes in our area" for a "free home security system. RIIIIIIIIIIIGHT. They've been calling incessantly so I finally picked up. Needless to say, I hung up on the guy.

I got the same call.  "James" claims he got my number from an "online partner."  Wouldn't give me the address, phone # of his "company" (claimed to be from Family Protection) when I asked for it.

I picked up, it was a machine pitching some home security system

Four calls so far, at precise 1-hour intervals. Haven't answered.

No message left.  Keeps calling.  I never answer.

I received 3 calls 6 minutes apart from this number.  When I dialed the number back from a different line, I heard the message about the Walmat gift card offer and hung up.
