Call and no respond and hung up

Call came in from this number 309-788-0811, message said it was Google. Working on business information. Got a guy on the line, told him I was not a business. He said I was so rude that he will keep me on the list and call again. If I had been nice he would have taken my number off his list. Then he hung up. Called the number back, it rang 2 times and then told me it was out of service or disconnected number. Searched the number on Google, a lot of sites talking about calls from this number being a scam. Placed the number they called on the national do not call list. Placed a complaint with the FTC, talked to AT&T fraud, advised them of the calls from this number.
Placed my complaint on several web sites advising others of my findings and actions.

when I try calling back, it gives me a message the phone is disconnected. The one time the message started playing, it gave me an option to talk to someone. It was the same google bs about advertising my company on google. The man was very abusive when I informed him his info was incorrect.

Really sick of this nonsense now 309 788 0811 is calling me 3X a day and when I answer they hang up/ You cant call them. A recording says its a disconnected number. This is really annoying and all things point to this being a really bogus business

I guess I would like to know what they get out of it when they call you answer, and no one is there????

Got automated call from this number; recording saying they were a Google affiliate and wanted to know if I wanted to have my business listed in Google Local (i.e. Google Places). Kind of funny as that is one of the services that my businesses offer for clients and my Google Local listing has been active for 2 or more years. http://www.eBizROI.com/ 

The automated system said press one to be connected, 2 to decline. Needless to say I pressed 2. I wish that congress would outlaw these auto dialers and make these companies hire real people if they want to use an inside sales, cold calling model.

NEVER EVER EVER SAY THE WORD "YES" TO A TELEMARKETER ... Use the word CORRECT when verifying any information, if you decide to do that of course... then they can't cut and splice in your answers and charge you.  

This [***] company has been calling my business for 3 days straight, every couple of hours, really starting to piss me off as I am a business and I have to answer my phones no matter what.  I've reported them on the DO NOT CALL list and to the FCC but so far nothing, they just keep calling.

just got the call from 3097880811 saying they can index our biz in googles local search. Punks keeps calling!

These people are liers

Saw this # on my Caller ID as "Illinois Call" searched it & got 2 things:
1) a bunch of Spam/Scam calls
2) a fax machine for a company in Illinois, possible legit company.
Since I've never done business with the company, I'd bet it's a scam call.

It doesn't seem to mattering you report numbers to the FCC and do not call site. They just keep coming in, disrupting my business, taking up the time of my employees, distracting them from my customers.  I seriously think we should file a class action law suit against a few of these companies. Maybe it could help!

This has been ongoing for MONTHS and its obnoxious! You press 2 and you can tell it doesnt do anything!

Maybe we should all start calling the Marlier's personal phone numbers every 3 hours for a few days. Give them a dose of their own medicine.

Google listing a$$hole$.  Press "1" to be connected, Press "2" to be removed from calling list.  Pressing "2" will NOT get you off their list.  Also if you call this number back you get the recording that it's not a working number.  Useless [***].

I called their number and left a message to be removed from their call list, it sound like a personal answering machine.

I hope everyone that sees this will do the same and keep reporting them!

Constantly getting calls from this number. Say they are google associated but when I start asking questions, they hang up. Rude too. Suggestion- Put them in your phone as dna. DO NOT ANSWER as I do with the rest of the telemarketers.

Calling and no one is on the line, called back and the message says disconnected.  I got these phone calls from a number in Mass.  a while back and the same answers as I am seeing here came up.  I am going to enter the number on my phone under scam and not answer it ever, and then when they call to interrupt another call I may be on I will see it and not cut short a legitimate call for this cr@p.  What ya gonna do, a dirty bird is a dirty bird.  Rise above, but thanks all it is good to know others feel the same as I.
