Just received a phone call from 309-832-4061 asking to speak with my husband.  Told him he was not available and what did he want.  Wanted to verify voter information. When I said that my husband does not want to divulge information…he just said "No..I want to verify some information".  He did not give a name nor where he was calling for.  Told him my husband would not be interested in verifying any information and just hung up on him.

A man asked for my wife and I told him she was unavailable. When I asked what the call was in reference to, he hung up abruptly. I called the number back and it just hangs up on me. I filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission since I am on the National Do Not Call Registry.

Adding to the current litany of complaints, my call from (309) 832-4061 was much the same as others have reported, but different from the usual in that there wasn't the switchboard sound that is a telltale sign you should hang up, and the caller had no discernible offshore call center accent.  He asked for my husband, I said he wasn't available and to know was calling, and they were gone. After dialing *67 to block my number, I tried to call back to get the name of the company and to tell them to take our number off their list... but it doesn't get answered and shortly is disconnected.

called and asked for my husband,when i said he was not available and who was calling they said they would call back and then hung up on me.i noticed that they had called from the same number eiarler when i was not home to answer the phone.

Don't answer my phone anymore unless I recognize the number and this number is one of the reasons why.They call all the time. My phone says it's Abingdon,I'll.

Yet another call.I don't answer my phone anymore.Even as I write this I'm getting another call! Somebody HELP!!!!!  Also another number appears with this number it is V 8101259060074,Anybody know what that is?

Got a call, asked for my husband and told them he wasn't available and could I take a message.  They said they'd call back.  I called the number back and got a fast busy.

Got a call for my deceased father - by first name...no idea who, just hung up on him...

Young woman with strong southern accent. Asked for my husband, mispronounced his name. Told her she had the wrong number.

These SOBs need to get a f-ING life and stop playing on my daMN phone

Same as the other comments.  Woman with a "rough" voice asked for my husband, by name, and when I said he wasn't available and could I help she said she would call back.  I asked if I could tell him who called -- she hung up.

third call this week.Never answer my phone unless I recognize the number.Also has this number attached V81212222000074

Just got a phone call from this number, but I did not answer. When the answering machine picked up, all I heard was a dial tone. Above the number was this: V81411170900058. Here lately my grandparents have been getting really odd numbers which we do not answer.

My husband answered, said hello.  Caller asked for wife by name (me).  He said she is not here.  He asked who was calling.  They hung up.  He tried to call back and there was a click and disconnect when he called.  He only answered to ask them to take our name off their list. They call frequently with the following popping up initially as the number--V81410363400074.  Then when you press your call button the series of letters and numbers convert into 309-832-4061.  I thought we had laws that protected the public from these type of unknown calls whereby no one answers when you try to call back much less hang up on you when you ask who is calling.

That is an car part number for a ford truck. disregard that. The number is a scam

they called me for about a week/ two weeks straight and I would purposely miss their call. I answered today and the man paused and said "good...." and started to talk about some citizen United thing before I said he had the wrong number and he paused again before saying sorry and I hung up immediately.

Caller using 1-309-832-4061, called and asked for someone here at the house. I asked who is calling, and was told he could only give that information out to the caller; and then nastily repeated "is she there?". I informed him, that no one is ever available at this number for people who do not identify themselves to us, and to please do not call here again. Hung up.  Will wait to see what happens.  Can't believe these types of calls are permitted. Also on the DNC list.

4th call from them since I started keeping track.Says it's from Abingdon,IL.When I figure out how to track them,I'm going to sue like that lady did a few months ago,she got $1500.00 PER CALL from Time Warner.

I got a call this am from a lady asking for me by name. I told her this is me and she took a nasty tone and said I was not and to put her on the phone. I hung up, time will tell if they call back. It's crazy how they do this.
