this is a debt collector who keeps calling our home phone # and my husbands cell# and they are asking for someone we don't even know. they have been told repeatedly they have the wrong number, but it doesn't seem to do any good.

Caller ID is "unknown".  Only called once so far, I did not answer and they did not leave a message.

They keep calling me too - it's harassment.  They don't identify themself when they call.

i just got a call and it said beverly hills, CA as the caller ID and i answered and they hung up

I received a call from 310-410-2069, and they left the following number of 1-800-414-8319 to call them back.  The message on my answer machine stated they were with Palace Aid Collection Agency and they were calling to collect a debt.  I do not have any debts in collection.  So I called the number and the call center requested my social security number to identify the debt.  As far as I am concerned this is a scam to get the individuals personal information.   Have a blessed day.

I am on the no call list.  This is a Palace aids collection company.  I do not have anything in collection. I call the 8004148319 number and can't get a human. They want my ss# to look up the debt but I won't give them my ss # unless I know its my debt.  They call numerous times a day.

OK, we have established who they are...Any ideas about WHAT CAN WE DO ABOUT PREVENTING OR STOPPING THE CALLS? Ty, linda

I know exactly what to do. Go to a payphone and call their 800-414-8319. They are charged $1.00 each time you call from a payphone. You do not have to put any money into the pay phone to call an 800 #. Call them repeatedly like they do you. They pay $1.00 each time you call. A truck stop is a good place because you can use different phones.

As ashamed as I am that I owe debt, it's not my fault that I cannot find work. (Searching for a job is my FT job at the moment) I can barely pay mortgage and food! For relief, if they call from a true number vs unknown or private, I just store the number in my cell address book under the name of Z set with a silent ring. I've added them all in that manner. Sad but it works. I have no time for the stress they cause..... I just never hear them calling..... just missed calls. Just ignore them. It's interesting that no one ever leaves messages... how can they prove contact? I've never received papermail, emails or messages. How can I respond? I will deal with them once I'm working again.

I keep getting calls from this #  I call back and its for someone who evidently had this phone over 2 yrs. ago before I got my number.  The recording just keeps saying, if you want to look up your # by ss#, or by debtor id, ect. never a time to say this is not the right number for the person your looking for for I just let it keep going on and on and hope they get the messge that I want to talk to someone but it just keeps the same stupid recording. I am going to look up their address and another phone number for them and tell them they need to change their message and procedures on that stupid recording to allows people to let them know they have received a wrong phone number!!!!!

I have been getting calls from them for months.  They call in the middle of night and leave message on my work phone.  Today I decided to call back.  When it asked for an id#, i typed in 123.  The recording said wrong number but I would be transfered to an operator.  I told them I wanted them to stop calling my work number.  The lady told me she was trying to get ahold of Elton Q McQueen.  I explained that I have no idea who that is but this was my work number and that they need to stop calling.  She said ok

These people have been calling our place of business for 3 weeks now. They hang up before anyone can say anything. Finally I *69 the call and got their number. Called it and got the same voice message as everyone else but the number is different 562-453-4352..maybe the payphone idea worked and they changed the number.

Hey just called and when asked for the fed id number i push 121 and got to talk to a real person. So hopefully they will stop calling.

For a couple of months I receieved a daily call from the collection agency re: 800-414-8319.  I finally submitted an FCC compaint a couple days ago and I didn't receive the call yesterday.  With any luck, I won't recieve the call again.  I would recommend everyone who receives an incorrect collection call from this number submit an FCC complaint.  The more they get, the less likely it will happen to others.
