I have receive a few phone calls from this number in the past couple of weeks.  My caller id just tells me they are calling from West Los Angeles, CA.  No company name.  They usually call while I am out during the day.  Never have left a message.  I don't know anyone in California so I am leery on calling the number back...especially when they do not leave a message.  At first I thought it could have been a wrong number, but it has happened far too often now to be a wrong number.

I get a call from this number on a daily basis and my caller id identifies it as "Donor Services".  Like others have mentioned, they never leave a message.  Reverse lookups return no results.

They call at least once a day, never a message. Bizarre.

They call and hang up if I answer. Never leaves a message. I'm so annoyed by them, I hope some day whoever is doing the calling is  found with a telephone cord tied around their neck(s).

This shows up on my phone daily.  They call when I am not home  ALOT.  I guess they do not know that people work, go to school, etc. The calls started 2 months ago - they are persistant.

I'm getting calls with no message too... my Vermont Caller ID says California. very strange!!

Donor Services Group.  Apparently in LA, apparently does some telemarketing as "Facter Direct LTD".  Also go by DSG.  Two contact names from their web site, <http://www.donorservicesgroup.com/contact_us.html>:

They appear to be tied to non-profit organizations, so they probably got your number from a non-profit that you have done business with.

Apparently no toll-free number, so if you want to call them (310.788.9000 ext. 121), you are forced to pay for long distance charges.

These people call during the day. Today is Saturday and they have just called. No message is ever left but a hang up on my answering machine. They started calling on 1/29 and have called 3 times total. After reading from another site they are apparently a company called "Americares" and they say that they are a non-profit company and are using a telemarketing firm called "Facter Direct". They are contacting former donors who might be interested in supporting their current responses to crisis around the world. You can ask to be placed on their DO NOT CALL list by contacting Lee Weiner at lweiner@americares.org and give them your name and address. I have not tried this, so I do not know if it really works. In this day and time I am starting to believe that calls like this are "phishy".

Calls started about a month ago.  Never leave a message - just their number with Donor Services listed on Caller ID.  Strange!  We are on a No Call list.

I do not recognize the number.  Whoever is calling never leaves a message but calls frequently in each week, for the past few weeks.

I am on a No Call list & get repeated calls from this number. I believe it is paired with a call I'm getting from a 1-800 number where the caller speaks Spanish. Both these calls started happening a couple months ago.

Multiple calls a day.  Used to just say "out of state," today said "California."

Anyone know how to send an electric shock back through the phone lines?

We started receiving calls from Donor Services 1-310-444-2679 3 days ago 7/7/2009.  They have called every day sometimes 2 times a day. They do not leave any messages. I have caller ID & do not answer the phone unless I recognize the name or phone number.

Call daily including Sundays during the dinner hour

I called the number. They are "Donor Services Group." You get a message saying that they're calling on behalf of NFP orgs that we've given to. To be removed, press #1 while the message is happening and you leave your name and number on a machine that says you should be taken off within 3 business days. I left my name and number - we'll see if it works.

They're still at it.  Got some calls last month, and two this week.  We screen our calls, and they never leave a message.
