some mesg about my car warranty is almost over ?

they call and try to sell you a car warranty (i have NO car) so i told them they called a police emergency number and to never call again.  if the call costs you no maney, you listen to the message, then press whatever number for 'more info' then screw with them, tell them you want to extend warrantys on ALL your nice new expensive cars, but you haven't got your credit cards with you, can you call em back when you get home.  hah, get as much info as you can from them but GIVE THEM NOTHING.  waste their time so they cannot scamm innocent people like senior citizens.  make up stuff and get them going.  apparently they just hooked up this number in california but i have gotten calls just like this from delaware, tennessee, georgia, on and on..... here is a great idea, tell them you want to donate something of great value (you pick--a car, a trust fund, an estate) and that you were gonna run a contest for it but you want to know more about the hard working person you are speaking to (try to sound dumb) because maybe you will elimate all that red tape and just give it to THEM!  get their company info (not their personal info-don't harrass them that way it is illegal), then USE IT TO MAKE LEGIT COMPLAINtS TO THE PROPER AUTHORITIES like their phone carrier, the fcc, anyone who handles anything to do with phone harrassment.  but please, do not be mean or threatening, that can get you into alot of trouble, and do not harrass individuals that only work for the scammers, just the comppany that slaves them.
most of these callers do not even know they work for a scammer.  they read from a script, and these scammer telemarket companies treat them horribly--google it, you will find alot if info about that! the poor guy took this job because he was desperate to feed his family and pay rent.  it is the company he works for that need to be eliminated. go have fun with it get creative!

likewise, called my cell (last time I checked, unsolicited calls to a mobile were illegal) and said, "this is our *second* attempt (emphasis mine) to tell you your vehicle warranty may have expired." I bought my 6-yr-old van used from a mechanic. This is not even close to a legitimate call.

Me, too.  I drive an 1989 pickup with 245,000 miles... so this is B.S.  Don't know where they got my cell phone #... not listed anywhere.

They are using my telephone number and tons of strangers keep calling me all day long, asking why I called them when I never called one person!!! Time Warner Cable has not fixed this problem since last Wednesday and tells me they never heard of such a problem. They tell me they do not have any list of numbers to see the phone activity!!! Nothing has been done yet...

I have a pay as you go phone and I'm getting the same messages, which cost me money. Today they didn't leave a message, maybe they are changing tactics, but it's still annoying.

Can't anything be done about these jerks? They call my cell phone all the time. This is harrassment.

This number calls my cell and office daily!  I have listened to the entire message and pressed the number to be taken off the call list..that does NOT work..I waited to speak to a live person..I told them to remove my number and some guy yelled at me and said it would COST ME to have my number removed and then he hung up!  This is harrassment and needs to be stopped immediately..I will call them back and harrass them if that's the only satisfaction i get out of it..I am going to pass this number to everyone i know..ha ha..they have messed with the wrong person..

i have been recieving a lot of calls from this # about 4 or 5  times a week or more what can we do about it  i  got one today 7/30-07 you pick mit up you get nothing  i have to pay for any calls  out of states  i have know policy  on my car i own it out right   please help

I just filed a complaint on the FCC link above.
They have called me every day for nearly 2 months.
I've repeated used the opt out button and have never been removed from the list. Twice I spoke with reps who said they would remove me from the list, about 10 times I was simply hungup on for asking about the name of the company, to speak with a manager, or to be removed from the list.
I hope they rot in hell.

i just got a call on my cellphone from this number.  didn't recognize the number so ignored it, but it is annoying and could stop a legit caller getting through to my business.

I received a call from this number today August 1st @ 1:33PM.  About an hour ago I got a call from another number I didn't know - 215-542-4930.  I didn't answer either of them and they didn't leave a message.  I'm going to file a report with the FCC via the link above.

Received a call from this number on my cell today...only part of a computerized message was there saying that it was a final vehicle follow up and if I wanted to be removed from the list to push some number...um...if this is the final one then why would someone need to remove their number?

They are relentless. I've asked to be removed 2x in one day.  I have no idea how they got my cell number but I hope they get shut down soon.

I just got a missed call from this number on my cell phone.  No message left. Will report.

I had not set up voice mail on the number yet, so no message was left.

When called back, there is a message that goes something like this ... If we called you in error, we are very sorry.... we are only wanting to contact businesses  ..... to remove this number press 1.

There is no mention as to who or what is at the other end of the number.

They first called me at like 8 in the morning, then at noon, and then they called the house that I was babysitting at. It's really annoying. Everytime I push the button to be taken off of the list and they still call back. I tried to get through to a representitive but they hung up and I didn't get to speak with anyone. I called back once and pushed 0 because sometimes that will take you through to a live person but it didn't work. I really would like this company (if it even is one) to be shut down.

Received this call on my cell phone regarding my warranty on my car.  I don't own a car, I don't even have a driver's license.

they call my cell routinely and i usually don't answer. they don't leave a msg. they call from different numbers. once i picked up and it WAS about a car warranty which i don't have. it started a few months ago. i was in real estate and had it on my business cards. this must be how they got my number as it isn't out there anywhere else. i don't list it for classifieds, etc.
