I have received many calls from this number, that I assumed are associated with one of those financial payday loan scammer places--the ones who claim to be legal departments trying to settle debts you never had. I got tired of my phone constantly ringing, so I answered. The guy asked for me by name, said his name was Harry. I asked why he was calling, and he said he wanted to a** f*** me!

I sure hope this guy is in Nigeria or somewhere, since he has all my personal information!

    Hello Bob!
I do apologize, I just saw your message, and I do appreciate your time in writing, and yes things like this Greg Fernandez and Mega Financial, has to be known that this company and the owner are a fraud, at least that was my experience.
No I have an open case, so that way this company and Greg Fernandez and those who work with them learn to do not steal people information and do fraud.
    Again
    Thanks for your time

Greg Fernandez replies to Bolivar Masoud
Bolivar, be very careful with your accusations! My name is Greg Fernandez and you are slandering me! I am in the collections business. As such, I found the power of a memorable phone number. That led me to get into the vanity phone number business. I now own in excess of 5,000 phone numbers which my company uses in various campaigns. Often times, I pick up numbers that have become available due to non-payment by previous subscribers. That is not fraud. On occasion I purchase phone numbers, too. That is not fraud.

That was the case with your number: I purchased it from a broker. I did not know the broker stole your number. I spoke with you that first day when you said the number that was ringing into my offices used to be your number. I was shocked to hear you say that the number was stolen from you. I have never heard of such a thing. I simply asked that you provide proof, and that I would be happy to port it to your carrier. Despite giving you my toll-free fax number and email addresss, I never again heard from you; you did not supply proof. A few days later, AT&T called to investigate your claim, and after they were satisfied that your claims were true, I IMMEDIATELY RELEASED THE NUMBER! I then mailed to you (via US Mail) the email correspondence I had with AT&T to prove my innocence.

I have recently learned of a scheme where phone numbers are targeted for take-over. The plotters incessantly call a targeted number from a targeted fake phone number. I don't know how they do it, but the caller ID that shows up is not the true number that is calling (I've been told the practice is called "spoofing"). The result is two-fold: the plotters hope the incessant calls to Target Phone #1 leads the subscriber to cancel service; second, the plotters hope that enough people call back the number that shows up on caller ID so that Target Phone #2 cancels service, too!

Bolivar, your posts are exceedingly defamitory in nature, not only to me and my company, but to my wife, too. You are on notice to IMMEDIATELY STOP such postings here and any other websites.

Greg Fernandez of Mega Financial Inc. reports that he has been slandered. May be if Mr Fernandez would get off the damn phone and stop slandering everyone else then he would be left alone. In my opinion, Mr Fernadez of Mega Financial Inc is a victim of karma for what he has done to others.. It may take a few years to get to know this man , but his true colors will come out. In my opinion , Greg Fernandez of Mega FInacial Inc is a very manipulative con man.

Facts about Fernandez replies to Greg Fernandez
    | 4 replies
You need facts?  Here they are-

Fact #1) You've been sued dozens of times for fraud.
Fact #2) The DA in Orange County charged you with fraud for stealing millions from investors- trial coming soon.
Fact #3) You previous company (Old Canal/d.b.a. Nest Feather) was forced in to bancrupty by investors because you stole millions.

At some point, you need to stop blaming others and take a hard look in the mirror.  If you keep getting sued for fraud, get charged with fraud, and lose your company for fraud, it might be something you are doing.

I have recently been a victim of a scheme where my phone number [removed] was targeted for take-over and illegally ported out from Verizon on 9-21-11 using identity theft by individuals in the vanity number business.

The plotters first contacted me in hopes of buying my number, when I declined the offer they began to incessantly call my number 200 times a day.

I don’t know how they do it, but according to Mr. Fernandez the caller ID that shows up is not the true number that is calling (I've been told the practice is called "spoofing"). The result is two-fold: the plotters hope the incessant calls to Target Phone #1 leads the subscriber to cancel service; second, the plotters hope that enough people call back the number that shows up on caller ID so that Target Phone #2 cancels service, too!

I was able to trace back a few of the numbers to Greg Fernandez’s company, The Telco.
    "310-666-6666" and "850-777-7777".

I have since learned that Mr. Fernandez and his company “Mega Financial, Inc.” were named as co-defendants in a lawsuit filed by T-Mobile for “Illegal business practices or “conversion and transfer (or “porting” of customers unique “vanity” telephone numbers.

To View the T-Mobile complaint: http://bit.ly/GregFernandez

I have since launched a website to expose these individuals and their crimes: http://www.vanitynumberscam.com

This matter is being investigated by the FBI. If you have ben any information in this matter or have also been a victim please email me at victim@vanitynumberscam.com

    Thanks
