I just got a call from this number... I was so pi##$##.  This guy calls saying my full social security number, and saying, I had a lawsuit, and if I wanted to resolve things out of court I had to call.  I am planning to call him, and tell him he got the wrong guy with the wrong social...

it's the fraud. already report them to police. hopefully they can be put in jail asap

These people are fraud, they must of got your number because you might of applied or got a loan online or obtained information you inputed online. They have a way of over seeing your personal information being driving license number, social, and bank info. I tell them to fax the court documents to me and they always say I can't fax something in black or white to you it's against the law.

I don't if you can report them because I think they are calling outside of the country using United States phone lines

I am being harassed by these people.  They keep calling my phone, I ask them to stop and they keep calling back to back to back.  I have nothing to do with these people, and would like to file a complaint against them legally.  If you can help me I would really appreciate it, if not I am going to find out the address of where the call is coming from and probably end up in jail.

I had the same experience on Friday morning...they must have called my cell phone 5 times in a matter of 2 minutes..and they had all my info but were truly hard to understand

I have been called by this number almost all week saying I owe money and they identify themselves as The United States Department of Investigation, they called me telling me I owed them money and I needed to pay or else they would be submitting a warrant and would take me to court, they said they were not a collections company but yet again they kept calling and calling.....these people are very [***] and I will most definitely be filing a law suit!!

I feel SOOOOO stupid....I fell for the scam....I was at a volnerable state because I knew I owed money to a loan company, but wasnt able to pay them off for  .  So without doing research I gave them a payment, because they told me they were going to take me to court if I didn't...but what rose my suspision was when another person from a different "Law Firm" called taking about ANOTHER loan....I told them that was impossible because i gave them a payment.  They tried to play it off and asked for the person's number and tried to "investigate" the mix-up.  From that day it was way too fishy so I googled the number....low and behold I found this.  I feel so [***] stupid...I was suposed to give them another payment tomorrow....smh. I am in such dis belief and just cant believe that this happened to me.

Just got a call from these people. They are ridiculous, I told them to send me the so called "legal papers" what they do not know is that I work in a law firm and my boss is willing to help. Silly of me for not researching these sites before entering any personal information.

How did you pay them.. Report it to MoneyGram or your bank. I fell for it too a couple of years ago and I got some of my money back.. Now they are trying to do it to me again.. Low and behold they won't get me again ... Hope you can recover some of your funds.

I keep getting calls from this number as well and most of the time I just let it go to voice mail and then delete it when the message pops up. I do not even listen to it. But lately they have been calling 3 to 4 times in less then 5 minutes. Do not fall for this non-sense. I was wondering where this number came from and got this sight from Google. It is to the point that If I have someone calling me, if I do not know the number I just do not respond. If I do and the person does not speak English (CLEARLY) on the other side I will just hang up on them. If I get a call that says unknown, I will not answer it at all. If they do not know who they are, then I do not either and talking to them is a waste of my time. If they know your SSN number, then contact the Social Security asap, Put a block on your number so that anyone trying to use your number can not be used without your written consent.

I have a friend that works for the Secret Service who is involved in this type of action.  Log all calls, never give them any information and never give in to this morons.

Just got a call - I immediately googled the number - after telling him you are a scam I am calling the police to report this number immediately and I hung up.

I am getting calls too!  Glad you guys posted here.  Im gonna ignore them too!!!  This is the 2nd time this has happened!!!!

I got a call from this idiot too.  My dad has been involved in some advanced fee scams so anyone that calls the house with a foreign accent deserves some suspicion.  After listening this idiot claim that my dad owed some money, i asked them why not just go to  small claims court to get your money,  he claimed some BS about section xx.xx  Then he got to the part about me using western union to wire him the money,  that's when i hung up on him.  Anyone know how to report this to the authorities?  I know this guy is probably using VOIP and calling from overseas.  He even said he's calling from Redding, CA when i googled Redding and it's near Sacramento,  he said it was near Los Angeles,  which is how i can tell he was lying.
