Received a Call from this Clown telling me I should get an attorney for something that I know nothing about. Was told that something would come down bad on me with a VM left on my phone. Will not tell me what it is all about. Unknown company.

I also had the same call I was told I had taken out a loan and never repayed it that they were a law office but would not tell me who they are. as soon as I said i was calling my lawyer they hung up and wont take my calls. I reported them to my local police dept. they said it was a scam and they would have some fun with their number and find out more.  they said i had three charges against me ranging from fraud to theft. I found it funny yet disturbing and thought this might help some one else out if anyone recives any call like this they should report the number a.s.a.p.  Hope this helps someone

same call - left same "urgent legal matter" do I have a lawyer" message. Tryed to call back, voicemail full. He called me back - I told heim I did not know who he waqs asking for & not to call my cell phone again. He started his script * I told him "I cannot understand your heavy jamacian accent & I have no idea what you are saying. I told him do not call or bother me again or I will call the authorities & press charges against him.

The reneging happened to me and I almost fell for it..

i receive a call from this person saying that i need to get a attorney for some loan that i suppose got with this company and i was behind with the payments, and he was going  to sent me to court and i was  going to be arrested.  i try calling back and nobody answer.

I just received the same call, @ my work phone, I will be calling the police, the guy got angry and hung up because I wouldn't let him feed me his bull [***]..

Yes, I fell for this scam because I was frightened someone would come and arrest me. They knew the name of my bank and everything; even where I worked.

I received a call from them and they told me that they were a law firm and i had a lawsuit against me and had to report to CA for court...I am in NC! Said it was about my husbands email address and it was about some echecks and theft? told me to report to my supervisor and i would be served by the sherriff at work. I asked my supervisors and nothing....

I literally just received the same phone call (well several phone calls from these people).  Scared me to death, but I just reported them.  All this information was very helpful.

Please whatever you do; don't fall for the scam like I did. I was told to get a prepaid Visa card and put $200 on it; that is so it can't be traced. I read the report from FBI dated 12/2010 and states these people are operating out of India; that's why the accent are so strong. I have now filed a complaint and waiting on a case number so that I can get my $200 back. Hope this helps!

Samething happend to me while on vacation saying that I was going to lose my job.over it and that I was under investigation I didn't give them any information to I do my own investigation.and what do u know all this is scam something told me to google it and I did.thanku everyone I will be reporting this.

They told me the same thing. Asked if I had a Walmart near me & to go there & purchase a prepaid visa card & put $500 on it. I reported them to the police & now when I call back I get hung up on. Your info was very helpful...thanks.

I just got this call as well.  First asking did I have an attorney, using my first name only. Telling me I need to get an attorney and to wait for a number for me to call.  When he could not answer what this was all about, I just  hung up. He calls back telling me the police would be outside waiting to arrest me for some legal matter.  Never said what.  He called back 3 times with the threats and then hung up.  I too called t he number back and the VM was full. So I looked  the number up and here is what I found.  I will be reporting it too the police ASAP.  Thanks for this site.

just got same call and called number back also scared to death was told he was a lawyer and would not tell me anything but that i had a warrant for my arrest and i would have to deal with it cause i was rude and would not talk with me any more.  will also report

Just got a voice message last night and called the AG office and police.  Got another call just now and gave them the AG's number.  Hope they call them!

Same as all the rest, could barely understand him in the message.  Said that if they did not hear from me or my attorney of record right away he could only wish me luck as the situation unfolded upon me??

I just got a call from these people on my cell number and at my work number. Having read these message, i will be contacting the police. Thank you all for your help and calming my nerves!!!!

Got the same call from these. Did he state his name as Kevin Johnson?
