they call and hang up.  I do have a Mitsubishi but why would they call I answer and then they hang up.  Makes no sense.

Ive been getting this number on my caller ID several times a day for the las couple of weeks and I never answer. Today they actually left a voice mail! They were calling on behalf of Mitsubishi.. We recently bought a Mitsubishi car.

It may be JD Power & associates calling to see how the service was.  I had my vehicle services a couple of weeks ago and they told me a call would be coming.  I got the call today from that same number but they left no message.

They call me EVERY NIGHT about 7:00.  I never answer and they never leave a message!!!  Now I know never to answer!

Called twice on 6/4/08, 16:24 & 17:47, CDT; did not leave message.  I purchased new Mitsubishi on 5/31/08.

I have gotten the same call almost every day for the past week. No message was left any time. Glad I googled the phone number and found this information.

I have been receiving calls from this number, I tryed calling back and there is no more room in the mail box to leave any message, how do I go about blocking this from my phone?

I do not appreciate the constant calling, this is very annoying. Everyday the repeated calls and no messages and when the call is returned all you get is a voicemail service that is full. This is how crimes are commited. The FCC should look into this mystery calling and place a fine against the person(s) and/or organization that are/is responsible. If it is the Mitsubshi Corporation, then I will not do business with them again in the future nor give referrals and/or recommendations. They have lost out.

They called my cellphone 2 times with in an hour  1 hour after leaving the dealership with my car....

This is insane....they call me every evening around the same time, for WEEKS at a time and then I hear nothing..then it starts again.  I love my Mitsubishi, but damn!

I think your right. I also had my Mitsubishi serviced last week and they have called twice. They want us to take a survey. But when you miss the call or perhaps just screen it and try to call back, they should answer. why wouldn't they just call from a toll free number, it only makes more sense. Not very professional on Mitsubishis part.

I didn't realize that by buying a Mitsubishi (last week), I'll be getting harrassed with phone calls!  I just got 2 calls, 15 min. apart, with no voice mail.  I don't answer calls from numbers I do not know because lately, I've been getting a barrage of the auto warranty, mortgage companies, and other recording scams.

These calls are probably for customer service surveys, which Acura also does after you bring your car in for servicing.

I bought a Mitsubishi a couple weeks ago and the calls have started!  I don't answer calls I don't know, but there is never a message.  How can they get them to stop?!

After the first 2 calls (see above), I received a call everyday last week around 7pm.  On Friday, I get a call from my receptionist asking to transfer a call from Mitsubishi [city], which is where I bought my car.  I think the receptionish screwed up the transfer, i didn't talk to anyone and Mitsubishi never called back.  Today, after a week of peace, I get a call from this number again on my cell phone.  This time, I tried to answer it, figuring I'll just do the stupid survey and get it over with.  They hang up!  As soon as I answered!  Argh.

Glad I unearthed this site. I bought my Mitsu in September 08 and my wife and I have received several warranty and other scam-related calls from various sources over the last three months. I just took my car in for its first maintenance call on 12/31. Every day for the last week or so I've been getting multiple calls from this 312 number. A message is never left, and I screen most of my calls as well. I love my Mitsu, and I'd bet that it's not Mitsu directly responsible for these calls. More than likely it's a 3rd party vendor. Still sucks.

I got a call at 7:30 PM today 1/22/2009 and I could here kids in the background and they did not say anything and hung up.

I too recently bought a Mitsubishi. I was away from my cell phone for awhile and when I picked it up and looked at it, I saw that I had a couple incoming calls from this number, wondered who it was from, did a search on the web whicg brought me to this site which makes sense now.
I am going to assume by the way most survey businesses work that they will keep calling until you actually answer them which is why there isn't any message left. They are very persistent and won't stop calling unless you tell them.  Your Mitsubishi salesman may have even told you you may be expecting this call and you may have just agreed to it while signing all your sales papers.

You may receive a call from Mitsubishi Motors to determine how satisfied you are with your sales or service experience at a dealership. If you have Caller ID, it will show as Mitsubishi Mtrs 312-458-9168. Please answer the call and participate in a short telephone survey to rate the service department at this dealership. There are seven attempts to reach customers, on the last one they will leave a message. If you do not want Mitsubishi Motors to call you for a survey, simply take the call and ask to be put on our Do Not Call List. Thanks.
