received a call stating they are from the law from office of Arnold Scott harris in chicago. hired to collect $$$ for toll way violations that happened in 2003. Currently have a discount break... if you pay on or before June 30 2009.

same there. call my cell, said i own 2006 tolls. and my license could be suspended in next 5 min. lol

They've been calling my mobile phone the past couple of days and I never answer it. They finally left a voice message, but it was a computerized voice that paused and changed tones prior to stating my name. They wanted me to call a "Miss Smith".

Since I don't return phone calls from computers, I don't plan on calling them back.

Have received several calls from this number saying that they are a law firm.
They want me to pay for unsettled federal tax which I do not owe.

Received a number of calls from this number wanting to collect over a thousand dollars for an unpaid parking ticket supposedly received in 2005. If I do not pay them, they say that a 'boot' will be put on my car.   I do not remember anything about this ticket and am unsure what to do...

Not again, a Washington state number finally stopped calling me, now this, I ain't got time for this.

They've called my cell six times in the last few days. I didn't answer, they didn't leave a message.

Harassed my parents who I haven't lived with for 20 years. Said they hired a company to find my number. They said I owed from 2012, but never received a notice. Told me they reported it to my credit report and I now have bad marks on my credit report. I am in Iowa and will be calling the City to discuss with them how to handle any payments I may or may not owe. They were very rude and will not work with them again.

Calling my unlisted cell number, didn't leave a message.

I think they go by cell billings, cause they called my cell asking for my husband. When I asked "What is this about?" they said "We need to talk to your husband." and hung up. My husband doesn't own a cellphone.

I just received what might be the 100th call from the bozos at the Harris Law Firm.  It pertains to some alleged Illinois Tollway violations from several years ago.  The phone number they called from was (312) 604-7187.  The messages they leave typically say to call Mr. Scott about an urgent matter.  It's hard to believe these morons have an IQ above 30.  They will never collect one nickel from me and even though the calls are automated it must cost them something.  I really do not care. There will be no revenue from this boy!

Received another phone call from alleged "Arnold Scott Harris" saying I owe tax money from 2010. Funny that when they leave. Message it's a computer...and say to call Mr Scott. Well that supposedly is his middle name and why wouldn't this "human" say attorney Harris or Mr Harris...just a scam!! I have read all over the Internet about this scam. If it was a real collection for "tax money" wouldn't the IRS be calling me?? I think so!!!

I also got a call from this number but I did not get to my phone before they hang up.  I returned the call and a woman answered and verified my number.  She asked me how can she be of help.  I replied " you tell me because you are the one who called me".  Immediately she hang up. Why can't somebody stop this kind of nonsense.  I am elderly and do not need the harassment!

This number called me n left an automated message- since I won't answer numbers I don't recognize.  Stated they have left several messages for my husband and he hadn't returned thier calls.  Said my husband needed to call Mr. Scott at the number listed-no other information was stated.  I certainly won't be calling this number back because of the lack of info...especially after reading the other. comments on this site!  Thank you to those who wrote in comments.

I received two calls from this number according to the vm,I do not recall the first one. That being said I would like to know if this is in regard to a traffic violation or a toll violation, because I do not drive or own a car...

They also called my hse phone asking for my daughter, who is away in college.  They were very rude and refused to discuss what their call was regarding.  I explained that she has never been in trouble with the law and doesn't have any outstanding debts, but they were still very rude and hung up on me.  I called my daughter right away and explained this to her, and she also has no idea what this could be about.  She is not going to be calling them back!!
