Got a call around noon today and checked the number and found out they have a track record of calling and hanging up to others. Since I have my phone forwared to my cell, I'm saving their number to BOING ring tone and name will be CRAP just like many other callers. I'm even on the DNC list and it doesn't do SQAT/

Get this and no answer. Call back, no connect

This number called and hung up. Seems to be a trend these days. Not sure what their motive(s) is (are). Saved this number along with all the others as "Bogus Hangup Caller" along with the date they first called 20130321.

Got a call from them, missed it, tried several times to call back, it will not connect.

Caller ID says S ENGINE.  Stupid robo call trying to sell some Cr*p.

First i get a call from 3144998168 that numbers been calling me now for at least 45 days and they never say anything now I get a call right after that one for this other number3126839576 and it at least said something about google subscriber and if you were to press 1 witch i did and then they just hung up. this is a joke I'm on the dncl and it's not working.

This number calls DAILY - no one speaks on the other end of the line, it just sits dead for a minute then they disconnect.  WHAT A WASTE OF TIME!

Tried to call back and got a voicemail "Hi. This is Kelly Houcka and I'm out of the office March 20, 21 and 22 and will return on March 25." I didn't leave a message but when I tried to call back I can't get it to connect. Just stays silent and then disconnects. I'm sure it crappy telemarketers like most hang ups. Why do they even both to call and hang up?? I don't get the point!!!

I recently made an edit to our Google Places listing. This person was supposedly calling to verify that I am assuming since they didn't really identify themselves. Once I mentioned that I was not the business owner but my father was they promptly hung up on me. So incredibly rude and disappointing! GOOGLE, if this person does work for you they should be fired immediately due to rudeness and lack or professionalism.

Receive calls at the office from this number on and off for over a year now. Wanted to remove us off their call list but there is no one on the other end and no selection to be removed off their list. Frustrating and disrupting to a busy work day!

Got a call from them at work today around 3:40 central time. It said it was google map trying to verify our information. Few seconds Later some guy asked me if my address was correct, then asked me if we were a grocery store, I answered: "something like this" He hang up.

Heard the automated person say Google Maps and hung up on it.

The caller identified themselves via Robovoice as wanting to update my Google Local Search listing. I pressed the button to speak to a rep because I wanted to ask them to take me off their list—I don't want a local listing because I am a home-based consultant. All my work is electronic or I visit my clients at their places of business. Before I could explain this, the rep hung up on me. When I called back, I could not connect. Such unwanted, unprofessional, and poorly targeted telemarketing efforts are the bane of a consultant's existence.

They called, and because I have caller ID and am not a total idiot.....I didn't answer....so I win!!!

This company is calling saying they are with the Tech Support Dept and they have received notice that my computer has uploaded malicious software. They then ask you to turn your computer on and press ctrl + windows + R. I did not  give them enough time to actually have me run any type of program because I have had a stream of viruses. The first clue that this was not cool - I work for a rather large company with a dedicated tech support department and when they call they always give a name and name of the company and they can automatically share your screen. Our tech support department indicated that this is a telemarketing company but they are unsure what company they are working with.

I received a call from this number today, but didn't answer.  When you get a call and there is no living person on the other end, then it is a dialer program.  They set these to dial every possible number, and log only those where there is a person answering.  It looks for you to say "Hello" or some other word, at least two times, then it considers you to be a viable number with a human living at that number.  Then, the list is sold to telemarketers who try different times of day to get that real person to force a sale.

Just remember this, when you answer the phone, only say "Hello" ONE TIME, and if there isn't any answer, hang up.  This way, your phone number will not be placed on an active "To Call" list to be plagued later on by telemarketers!
