I think it's some kind of a crank call like prankdial.com Voice of an Indian telemarketer wanted to say something about a medical survey. I hung up!

They said they are with the CDC, looking for cell phone users with kids at home.

they are doing a survey for kids health i havae asked them to stop calling me but they continue to call.

Keep calling me after I have said not to. Filed complaint with donotcall list already. Filing complaint with FTC as well. https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/

Two calls from this number to my cellular phone during work hours.  Irritating.

They called me at 9 at night while trying to put my baby to bed! Sorry but not answering a single question about my child to someone who calls at that hour! They said it was some survey!

I have also received frequent calls from this number even after I said I did not want to participate in their "survey." They said the survey was being conducted on behalf of the CDC and related to cell phone use.  Definitely bogus.

They have called us 5 times.  As with others on this post, we've been given the line that they are conducting a CDC survey about cell phone use and kids.  We've told them to stop, and they become aggressive.  Just filed an FTC complaint on the number.

This number has called me numerous of times I keep hanging up and they keep calling saying that she was from CDC or something and was conducting a survey. When I told her I have no time she kept insisting to answer her questions. Next time I'm just going to be awkward and ask her what's she's wearing or something. Hope it works and that she'll stop bothering me!

I got this call ONCE, then blocked it.  Instead of carping about repeat calls, suggest folks learn how the call blocking option on their cellphone works.  Saves a lot of grief and ulcers.  :-)

Keeps calling on a daily basis. Haven't answered at all and I don't know who it is.

Called @ 8:30PM, left no message. Called the number back, received something I couldn't understand after some music. No idea what this is.

Willard, some phones do not allow blocking.

Just called CDC in Atlanta, GA, they said they are doing a survey regarding children's immunizations and it is being conducted by a contractor at the University of Chicago.  Their toll free ph# is 866-999-3340.
The 312-759-5255 is a landline ph.  They have called me 3 times, the 3rd time they left voice message. Unfortunately I do not have call block on my cell phone.

Just had second call in three days on cell phone. Time to get out whistle. Which can be heard in Madras.

have received this # numerous times starting in early fall.  Have not answered calls until last month when I told them to not call this # again and hung up. They resumed calling 2 weeks later. The latest was today.
I am concerned about the security of my phone etc. Is their no way to stop them???

im a 16 year old girl and they keep freaking calling me but i always miss the call, so i called back to see if it was just a wrong number that i could take care of, and i got this one girl for some survey that wouldn't answer any of my questions because i told her i was only 16, i told her no one in my house wanted to talk to her or take the survey and she was like thats an issue we'll cross when we get to it....O.o, all i know is if my mom gets involved she wont be happy at all so those people might want to watch out! :S
