I just got a call from this number as well.

Got a call from 312-800-9037. I did not answer, they left no message. I attempted to call the number back and got a busy signal.

The FCC has temporarily halted 7 minor unprofitable boiler rooms who will receive a slap on the wrist and be back at it within a few days. In the meantime the calls will continue since they are making money with what is called a CNAM revenue-sharing program through companies like http://www.telephonemanagement.net and http://www.CallerID4U.com

In their own words:  'Every day your company makes thousands of outbound phone calls. Every one of those calls generates revenue for many companies, why not yours? Our CNAM revenue-sharing program helps you make money every time a Caller ID request is made by a phone carrier. A high-traffic call center can lose hundreds to thousands of dollars a day to phone carriers by allowing them to charge for access to your own data.'

You can now see why the criminals keep calling even though they know you won't fall for their scam. They are making money even if you don't answer the phone. If someone does make the mistake of answering the phone and falling for their scam then it is just icing on the cake for them. These people are the lowest form of filth on this planet.

1.    Hang Up. Do not press 1 or any other numbers to get off the list and NEVER call them back
2.    Consider blocking the number or on a cell phone add it to a contact list and assign NO ring tone
3.    Report it at http://www.fcc.gov/complaints
4.    Report it at https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov
5.    People should continually file complaints with their Attorney Generals office
6.     Report any criminal activity to the FBI here:    https://tips.fbi.gov

This is an all out attack from these scum sucking filthy pigs! EVERYONE should be reporting them everywhere that they can. Since this is an obvious attempt at identity theft and is interstate, the FBI should be forced to get involved. Charge them with a CRIMINAL offense and throw them in prison instead of the FCC saying 'Naughty - naughty, now go out and play nice'. (Prosecute them in criminal court instead of civil penalties).

Call frequently

Just got unsolicited call from this number....I rarely answer my phone anymore unless it is a number I recognise.  I do have voice mail, so if it is someone that really needs to talk to me they will leave a message....

Called and left no vm. Blocking them.

Called and told me I won a cruise! WOO HOO!

Got a call from this number on my cell; no one on the other end. Probably a robocall.

I have started saving all of these phone numbers when they come in for the day when someone is able to track them or their clients down and file a class action lawsuit. They use different numbers but message is the same if anyone speaks. So i save the number as follows: Fraud 2013-03-11 (for instance). (This also keeps me from wasting time answering when they reuse the same number.... Then on the second line, i note the time of day and a note about the call - no response, ann from account services, in spanish... Etc.  i have 31 different phone numbers saved (most Ann from account services). Maybe nothing will come of it, but i save myself from answering the same number twice....

Just got this one.  I now DO NOT answer any call that I can't identify.  It's still annoying.  This is out of control starting about 4 years ago.

Keep getting calls from this number an I am on the DNC List.  So anoying....

Stop wasting your time. And mine.. I won't pick up my phone for an unknown #. I don't care if it is a generated #. Someone needs to do something about the nuisance calls.

It said from IL, USA... I just applied at United Airlines and they have HQ in Chicago. Got realy excited for a minute. damn...

They called and did not answer

I used to report these numbers to the FCC and the AG in the state they are calling from in addition to the NM AG office.  It's a waste of time.  They do nothing about these calls that is effective in stopping them and with budget cuts they probably never will.  It's just not a priority.
