I have gotten a hang up call from this number and when I call back, there's an error

Constant calling from a recorded message.

I am on do not call list and I received this call.......I don't know who it is and I would like it stopped or I will report calls to proper authorities.

Calls once a week then I call back and error. [***] annoying.

GE SECURITY SEC caller id calls from this Central Chicago Illinois area code number is calling for the dreaded OUT OF STATE TELEMARKETING can we put a sign in your yard then install a FREE Home Alarm BAIT AND SWITCH cold call. Nothing is FREE you are paying for it one way or another down the line. And why would someone put in a Home Alarm from an OUT OF STATE company? Let alone from a call center using outbound line phone system that does not identify themselves so nobody can call back to stop these unwanted out of state telemarketing cold calls.

This GE WIRELESS SEC (caller id) number is PROTECT AMERICA who also uses the number 917-793-5699 (New York cell phone area code) to make these out of state BAIT and SWITCH TELEMARKETING that says let us put a sign in your front yard and we will put in a FREE home alarm. Nothing is FREE somewhere down the line after the presentation you will be paying for it one way or another.

Here we go again our state & goverment won't or will not help- the consumer from being pestered
by marketing calls at all hours of the morning, afternoon or night,. I am so sick and tired of these
lousy pests and our state and goverment use the comeback excuse that some how we have done business with on of these companys so they are allowed to call. BS. I have told these bums over the years I am on the DO NOT CALL list but that doesn't mean anything does it. I have been home now for many months recovering from cancer surgery and heart failure, does that matter NOT AT ALL, and our local goverment doesn't do anythimg to stop these people or listen to us, well then give everyone your numbers and you take the calls. This has got to stop now. Voter new people in at every level we need to do some clean up ourselves.

I called the Protect America number that was listed above and they don't have my number on file! So I don't know who is calling. I am also on the do not call registry! I keep getting calls from 917-793-5699, 312-878-5661, and 516-453-5589. Any idea how to stop them???

Just want to agree with 3128785661  I just got my first call from this number. I won’t have to put up with them to many times. I have a neat little Computer program that works very well on these jerks. My complaint is with the National Do Not Call and The Texas Do Not Call. Both of which I have belonged for years. So there should be NO excuse for me getting this type of call. However, I see no help from these DO NOT Call Organizations. I use to go to their Sites and fill out the form. I even got letters make from them saying they had received my complaint. I complain. (Takes I little time) but in the end I keep on getting unwanted  calls. Some keep calling with the same name but different number. Some do it in reverse; Some are calling with different names and  same number.  I can’t block them completely but I can Zap them after the very first ring. I know this about the names and numbers  because my little Computer programs Logs every  call whether I answer it or not.  Lets not forget the Phone Companies, they could give us some real blocking power.

I get these calls all the time. It seems the national DO NOT CALL registries do not work. Anytime I have to register for anything where you HAVE to give a phone number, I give my cell phone. All my friends/family/business associates are in my contacts so when they call they come up by name on the caller ID, this way when a strange number or PRIVATE NUMBER comes up, I do not answer (no answer - no minutes either) and no one has my home phone except those I choose to have it. No telemarketers get it either.
