who calls me from this number?

I just got a call from this number. When I answered it, "they" hung up.

The weirdest thing happened to me today: I found a recording of a conversation on my home answering machine, and the machine gives me this number as the caller. But the conversation was between my friend and myself on a street corner, during the Chicago Marathon! What on Earth?!

The person who answered the phone said the caller, "Scott," asked for me by name and when I got on the line, he hung up.  Received several calls from this number over the past few months; they always hang up.

Called me today.  Didn't hang up on me because I don't answer these dumb callers.  Let my answering machine take the call but of course no message.  And now just got another call I've got to check out on this website.  No doubt it's another scam.

STOP CALLING ME and Emailing me!!!

Caller told me he represented a police association in Illinois and was fundraising. I told him I don't do that over the phone and hung up. He called me BACK and asked why I hung up! I told him to take me off the calling list. He said I was being rude.

Please tell me who you are and why you called me.

I get these and other calls advertising all day long ! Whatcan be done?

I received a phone call, asking for me by my first and last name. It was s telemarketer, claiming to be representing Illinois Vietnam Vets. Caller ID just listed the caller as "Chicago, IL." I just dialed 312-878-9598 and nobody answered.

Caller used my name then hung up!

Got a call from this number AGAIN...I blocked my number & called them back & let it ring for about 3-4 minutes while I made lunch. Finally, a recording came on and said, "all circuits are busy, please try your call later." Hmmm....might do that. :(

I answered, it was police retirement group
