Answered the call and heard nothing but background noise...guess they really didn't want to talk to me.

they keep calling and not leaving a message. Once they called & they didn't hang up & I heard cussing. maybe be it's telemarketers?

its some type of marketing firm called Symovate or Synovate Research.
their corp office number is : 866-320-4607. it says that you can add your number to their do not call list. i will have to wait a "few days" before i know if they will stop calling.

I added my phone number to the do not call list, Now they call every day.
I Think they are paid per phone call, so they call and wait for you to hang up so they do not have to do thier job.

I've gotten this call on more than one occasion. I never answer them. I did call them to find out who they were; got a machine. I'll just figure out a way to block them.

called three times so far.  have noticed they call at times when most people are home, i.e., after 6 pm and weekends.  i did not answer the first two but someone did tonight but said nothing.  there was no one on the other end.  There definetly up to something.  could be to see how many people answer? to see when to reach you? or possibly to use voice analysis to measure a persons susceptibility to phone scams--a sucessful phone scammer needs only to take control of the conversation with the target, rather it be kind, subtle, aggressive or scary.  remeber fear is a powerful emotion, so question everything a stranger says no matter where they claim their from!  dont let anyone control you over the phone!  As we say here in New York HAVE SOME BALLS!

this has something to do with fraudulent charges on your wamu credit account.  wamu claims not to know about who is calling and why.  if you haven't already, check your mastercard for fraud.  i got this info from other message boards and i am pissed.  if wamu truly has nothing to do with it then their credit protection methods are still lacking.

I just got the call from these mutts on my cell phone. I don't wanna talk to these guys, so why call me. I tried calling back and "They do not accept incoming phone calls at this number".

Same thing happened to me. They seem to call every few days. I have not answered because I don't recognize the area code. After reading the comments here, I think I will continue to ignore them. :D
