Its another number for "credit card services" which was calling from another number and I asked to remove my name. They just changed numbers and keep harassing.

I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.

Yet another robocall from Card Member Services.  Typical "same old" recorded message -- sounds like their tape is wearing out.  Again I pressed 1 to get one of their service criminals, but none were available to answer and get cursed out by me, and the machine hung up.

Reported to the federal "do-not-call" site, but I don't expect results.

Just got a call from this number on my cell phone - which is on the Do Not Call List.  I didn't pick up.  I NEVER pick up for numbers I don't know.  Ever.

I got a call also, I never pick it up, they don't leave messages...so most not be Important.

We got a call from this at 12:30AM. Since it was the middle of the night my husband answered. No onevwas on the other end. Very irritating.

Got a call from this number but it came up as a wireless caller.  Isn't that illegal now?  Changing the caller ID to be misleading is illegal as far as I know - unless they changed the laws again.

This is a robot call credit card consolidation company. Once they have your number, they will not stop calling you. Because they keep changing their number, the FTC is powerless to act. THE ONLY WAY TO GET THEM TO STOP CALLING is to push option #1, get connected with one of their telemarketers, and TAKE UP AS MUCH OF THEIR TIME AS POSSIBLE… Pretend you’re interested. Give them a fake name. If everyone on this board were to do this just once, it would cost them more than it’s worth and would put them out of business.

Got a phone call from an out-of-state number
that I don't "know" or recognize.  
I didn't answer, but looked up the number here.
They left no message.  

I am on the National Do-Not-Call List,
and have been for over a year now.  
(I guess this is our government at work for us.)  

I'm going to http://www.fcc.gov/complaints 
AND to https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx 
and see if that can get the government
to work for me, and stop these calls.  
(Yes I will go through all those steps.)  
We should all pile on.

Why haven't the Feds shut these people down ???!!!

The Feds haven't shut them down because they're in Nigeria.  It's an identity theft scam.  What's a telemarketing fine to these crooks when they're committing a felony?

The only way to shut them down is for the credit card companies to cancel the merchant accounts of the thieves.  Which won't happen because the credit card companies are getting millions in fees from the fraudulent transactions.

Maybe someone will sue the credit card companies, but until that happens nothing will change.

They call every week.  I direct them to take my name off their list and they hang up on me.
