same here got a call, I said hello several times, briefly heard something in the background and they quickly hung up. I think they are testing to confirm active numbers before they setup the robo caller maybe.

caller from a luxury resort opening in Cancun.  When I asked why they thought I was a preferred VIP traveler, they said because I stayed at a luxury hotel.  I asked that they remove my number and he laughed and said after I wasted his time, NO, he was going to keep me on his list and make sure I kept getting calls every 5 minutes.

Obviously s spammer. Answered and he was immediately talking about a vacation in cancun. I stopped him and said no I have no time for vacation and he said thanks in a mean voice and hung up
