Who is behind this number??

What is the reason for this call?

I got a recorded call from this number and tried to call back and it wont let me push anything, but they knew my name. said I was going to be sued or something to that matter. Anyone else have this happen?

I got the same message and googled it. THis is where I ended up. Trying to find out if it is legit or not. sounds fishy

I received a message from this number saying that there was a court action against me - something about a restraining order.  I am not the type of person who would ever be given a restraining order.  This sounds wrong.

I got the same recording this morning. They said I have 24hrs to return call and that I have a civil suit and restraining order. I've never been in trouble in my life !! This is a scam!!!!

This sounds just like a scam.  The man on the other line said he was from "United Fraud Protection Group", but sounded incredibly unprofessional.  Plus, the first thing he asked me for was my social security number.  There was no way I was giving him that.

Got a call from these scam artists. Female voice, saying there is a restraining order & a civil complaint against me. I had to respond in 24-48 hrs. Then it wished me good luck. Total scam, this is not the method of notification of a lawsuit of any type. Report it, then ignore it.

Got a call from this number yesterday saying there was a restraining order and when I called back the number it stated something to do with fraud prevention and there was a civil suit against me. The recording wished me "good luck"..and gave me some ATSC-2223 code to verify it against..what a scam.!!..who sends recordings to let you know any civil matters and such?...

I got the same call and they said the same thing. they did not leave any info as to what company and what it is reguarding. I thunk its something fishy.

This is definetely a scam, specially when it mentions your bank holdings abroad. Do they think that the S in our forehead is for Stupid? I suggest we use it for Smart.
Contact your banker and your local police and TV Stations for them to alert the public immediately.

I got the same call but they knew the first 5 of my SSN, I didn't give it to them. They knew my address too. Funny thing is, they called me on a phone # that I've only had for 3-4 months and I've only lived at the address for 2 years but they said this was from 2009.

I contacted the bank they claimed I was being sued by and alerted them of what was going on.

Got a msg stating there is a restraining order and a civil
complaint being filed  against me. Me and my lawyer needed to respond in 24hrs. This sounds like a freakin scam. I have a restraining order against my ex-boyfriend and I know for a fact that someone who is over 18 must personally serve (give) a copy of the restraining order forms to the other party; u cannot simply leave a voice msg on their phone!

Got the same call today...these guys are major scammers out of Detroit... dont be afraid to tell them in no uncertain terms to F*** off!  The seem to be especially active in the last few weeks...good idea to call the local news and see if they'll do a story!

Never had this account before

I got the same thing had first 5 of my social my address and maiden name. he called my house and cell phone.  super creepy. I put an alert on my credit report. i reported him to the federal trade commission. his name was john miller. I hope he gets put away! what a loser.

Report them. They are scammers and horrible people. Don't waste your time.

I have received many calls from the above phone number, for a Mr. John Resch, referencing a legal matter. When I try to return the call to tel them there is no John Resch living here, I am unable to get through. I am tired of these calls! I have received calls from other people/companies for this same John Resch. Obviously he does not live here or have this number.
