    The caller ID displays "GHAFARI ASOC" when I do answer, it is a salesperson selling life monitoring buttons. I asked why the caller ID is GHAFARI and he claimed he doesnt knwo - he is in training.
    Ghafaris do not deal in "Life Monitoring Buttons."

    Interesting. Ghafari Associates is an architectural firm with an office in the same city as my employer. I, too, have had these calls and wondered if I was missing a recruiting call -- glad to know I wasn't.

    A call blocker will take care of these calls.  Invest in one.  It's well worth the money.

    Just got a call from this number. Caller ID is Ghafari Associates. I did not answer. Oddly, they called my Skype Business number. Not sure how they got this number.. It is not a published number for me and I only use it for work.
