Telemarketer for ' Inovative Tela ' services.

Call don't leave a message I call the number back the are asking for money for the needy .well I'm the needy send me some money . They are full of it. Why would the call me from Detroit and I'm in California . All day crazy calls from unavailable 1   Or numbers that is out of  service . this has been  sicking.need to get rid of my number have had it for 20 years but I'm tired of this.

This number began calling me on January 5th.  I have no dealings with anyone in Detroit and never had any.  With all the complaints about this number, why hasm't the FTC done something about the problem?  All phones in this household are on the Do Not Call List which only generates more of such calls which are an invasion of my privacy.  I wish I could get away with an instrument attached to my phone which I could press when I know a telemarketer is calling which sould send a jolt through the line and destroy their telemarketing equipment.  I told this to a grocery store cashier and she said that her father already thought of that.  Blocking a phone number means nothing as they just create another one to call you constantly.  They begin their calls at 7:00 AM 24/7 but the FTC does nothing.  We get punished twice - once with the constant calls, then by the FTC because they do nothing.  Our home phone can only block 30 phone numbers.  We need a capacity for blocking set at 100 phone numbers  Is someone being paid off?  That seems to be the m.o. of this government which is totally corrupt.  All integrity in government has disappeared. It was the U.S. Chamber of Commerce which was obviously lobbied (bribed) that demanded that all cellphone companies surrender their lists of customers and their phone numbers so that telemarketers could start harrassment on those too.   I WOULD NEVER BUY ANYTHING SOMEONE WOULD BE HAWKING OVER THE PHONE AS ALL I HEAR ON T.V. AND ON THE INTERNET are, LIES, LIES.  I don't buy anything being advertised on t.v. or the Internet; I go directly to a store.  If I buy something and it is not acceptable, I can return it, and get a replacement or get my money back.
I was ripped off by U.S. Bank doing a nasty thing and stole $150.00 from me.  Instead of trying to solve the problem, they contacted the three credit bureaus, then began calling me over and over. with harrassing calls, that is, they called, let it it ring, then hang up, with no message left and if I try to call back, the message is that it is not a working number.  It sure worked when the call came in.  I now picket the rotten, greedy [***].  No wonder people hate banks.
For heaven's sake, someone at FTC get a grip on this problem.  You are being paid a salary to take care of this law which is obviously not beiing enforced.  After getting all the phones entered on the Do Not Call List, we have received more telemarketing calls than before.  What's up with that?????.

Got this call today and ignored it but googled the number and found this. Did you know that whoever owns the telephone exchange gets a fraction of a cent from *your* telephone service provider if you have caller ID? For example: Sleazy telemarketer calls Good Guy Greg, who has Caller ID. When Sleazy Telemarketer's phone company provides "unavailable" or "Detroit" or "xxx-xxx-xxxx", Greg's phone company pays for that data from the caller. Some tiny fraction of a cent changes hands there. Multiply this by billions of phone calls and you're talking about a lot of money. It doesn't matter if we answer the phone folks.  They make money whether we do or not.

Shows Detroit area code and detroitdn6 on the caller ID.  Been calling constantly for days. I don't pick up but today I heard the guy say "[***] this" in the background. Ha, maybe it was his last day

This is an actual nonprofit organization that has several programs according to their most recent
online IRS 990 form:

* distributing (used? new?) laptops and Ipads to hospitals for kids in isolation
  as part of "Keeping Kids Connected"
* distributing human hair caps ("Hugs U Wear")
* distributing "Wish Baskets" with pajama bottoms, games, hygiene items, and $75 gift cards
* distributing "Hope Binders" that allow parents to keep track of their children's care
  for their own needs and also in case the parent needs to hand off tasks to people
  in their own support network.

they report distributing "over 6000" Wish Baskets and "over 5000" Hugs U Wear.

For 2013, they reported spending about $656K on the Keeping Kids Connected program,
$596K in 2013 on the Hugs U Wear program, $577 K on Hope Binders, and
$647K on the Wish Baskets program.
(Not sure how many of the total items were distributed in FY 2013.)

Meanwhile, they raised 5.7 MILLION dollars in contributions in 2013 alone, 5,6 MILLION in 2014.

The IRS looks askance at 501(c)3 organizations that have employees/directors with six-figure salaries,
unless it is clear those persons' salaries are competitive on the open market.  It would seem that a
charity that can only manage to spend 22% of its income on its actual charitable programs could hire a
director that could do just as well for less than $153,113.  Unfortunately, the feds will allow abuse
to go on for years before raising any questions.

Meanwhile, the rest of us get inundated with phone calls on behalf of this organization, and the
people foolish enough to donate don't realize most of their money goes into the pockets of the folks
on the phone and the folks administering the "charity," not the kids with leukemia. (And apparently,
those who do donate will get constant phone calls forever after seeking additional donations:

What kind of scumbag uses sick kids to live it up with other peoples money? What a ghoul.
