It came up on caller ID as DETROITZN6! The lady said she was from The Childhood Leukemia Foundation.. She wanted a donation, told her I couldn't at this time and she just kept talking! I hung up on her.

I have no more robo so it picked ip that it was a robo dialer call and disconnected it after the first ring?

313-757-6785 called, when I answered it clicked a few times and then was blank.  No one ever said anything.  Sounded like a robo caller.

Just got a call  DETROITZN6 did not pick up.

Have been getting calls from this number.  Did not pick up.  If this caller is truly asking for a donation, I would think they would put their correct name on the caller id

Just got a call from this number too.  When I called back, I heard no ring tone and then an automated female voice saying, "Thank you for calling back."  "We are an Innovated Teleservices for various charities."  She also indicated that such calls are exempt from the Do Not Call list.  So I blocked it.  

Got a call from someone for child hood cancer donations, they wanted my address to send a packet. they knew my name and a general location of where I lived.

Wednesday 28 January 2015 -- 2:44 pm -- Caller ID said "detroit mi".  No message was left.  Many internet complaints indicate this is "Childhood Leukemia Foundation" soliciting donations.

They just called me too asking me for a donation

Robo caller. Came up as from Detroit, Mich on caller ID. As soon as I picked up I heard a click. These calls are getting ridiculous!

hang up sales call from detroit, michigan...I don't know anyone in detroit and I am on do not call list.  how do these people get away with this?????????I get 3-4 calls each morning and feel like disconnecting my phone number to stop the harassment

They say they are raising money for the Leukemia society And that's why they are still allowed to call you.
I called these guys back and they say that they are raising money for nonprofits and so that's why that they still call you if you're on the Do Not Call list.
If you wait a few more seconds they will let you have a chance to be taken off of their list.
Just wait for it and then they will capture your number and tell you it may take up to 30 days to be completely removed.

It only rang twice but it has been calling all day. They called last week and were collecting for American Leukemia Sociate and I said "Do not Call List" and they hung up. They did not say exempt from it. A telemarketer is a telemarketer you have no idea if they are really a charity even though they may use telemarketers, harassment is a whole other story

I picked up..... They asked for Mrs....... And I said no, them they asked for the Mr. I said who was calling and they hung up on me!!!!

I tell all these professional fund raisers that  I do not give to them.  They give verylittle of the money to the charity if anything.  Sometimes they say, "I understand"  They call again in a few months and I tell them the same thing.

Kim is also responsible for applying for and securing grants and has had great success forging corporate partnerships with companies such as Nintendo, Build a Bear and Ronald McDonald House. Kim believes that while every day presents unique challenge, every day is also presents at least as many unique rewards. “We work as a team at CLF, we brainstorm. As Programs Services Coordinator, Kate's responsibilities are many. She manages the free programs and services offered by CLF and supplies information and resources to our growing network of social workers and Child Life Specialist. Kate manages CLF’s donor base and is responsible for proactively engaging our online community through our evolving social media presence. Kate's unwavering passion for the children she serves is obvious to callers too, as you will likely sense her smiling on the other end of your call. "We simply cannot say thank you enough. Says Kate. I believe many of these calls are simply harassing calls from debt collectors after they have squeezed every last dime out of you and 1099'd you for the rest. PATENAUDE & FELIX is a VERY aggressive, fast talking company who plays fast and loose with their version of the truth and will haunt you all day long. That may not be the problem for everyone, but I am alleging it is a problem for many.

Fed up with these calls.  I let them go to my answering machine and they always hang up on it, which is okay because I wouldn't pick up anyway.

Another bogus scammer claiming to be soliciting for Childhood "Leukemia Foundation" .  Even IF they were really fundraising, they are a telemarketing firm & keep MOST of the donation.  I will NEVER donate to a paid telemarketer!
