314-000-0000

After receiving 4 calls in one day I finally answered. It is some foreign company wanting to do a survey on communications - I have a feeling it is satellite TV related but they wouldn't tell me what their telephone number was or who they worked with. They offered to remove me from their call list - I haven't gotten any more.

I too have been getting those calls....and in the name part on the caller I D just shows  XXXXXXXXXX  MO ? with the number 314-000-0000?

I haven't answered it... because it just seemed to strange.  I wonder why it has MO on the end?

I get these calls and no one answer when I pick up.

I looked up the info on another website and it's from the STL County jail!

I answered 2 times, and 1st time no one spoke,  the next time,  lady came on said they were surveying mothers of 11 to 13 year old girls,   I replied that I did not have a girl of that age, and I was not interested.   I have worked for a phone company, and know that 000-0000was never assigned to any phone,   not sure how it could trace back to any jail.   314 is definitly a Missouri area code,  so that is why MO could appear on caller ID

It's so creepy.. I got a call from the same no - 314-000-0000 saying it's a call from st louis County jail.. and someone wants to talk to me... I think we should just inform the phone company or something..

Caller ID only says "xxxxxxxxxx    MO" on it, no message is left after two calls. Very annoying and suspicious.

Got this 314-000-0000 several time's no one answers. I'm worried who is trying or what they are trying to do. What should we do?

The calls started a few days ago. 3or 4 times a day until Saturday, So far it as been 8 times on Saturday. No one ever leaves a message and no one speaks when I answer. Why dont these asshol3s every be decent! why do telemarketers/surveyers to always be like this!!!

Caller id says out of area 314-000-0000

They told me it was a political survey. Four times in one day? After the articke on the news about scammers asking about political opinions, I feel it is intrusive.

314 is a St. Louis area code MO = Missouri

This number has called me 4 times in a hour. It's Sunday and this is the first day I've ever seen anything from this number. I added to my blocked call list through my service provider (Verizon).

I've gotten a call from this # but only a couple times in the past few weeks. Found out it was from one of my doctors offices that sends out those auto-mated messages to remind you of appointments. It was a new dialer system they switched to that doesn't use their office phone# but this stupid blank #. When I told them, they didn't even know about it.

If it is happening frequently, it is probably a scammer/telemarketer. If it is only once in a while, it could be a legitimate call from some office on an auto dialer. No idea about the STL Jail though. I don't know anyone calling from there. LOL
