This call is a sham!  It is a call from a process server to serve you with court papers because you are being sued.  We are filing a harrasment suit against them

This call is from the Children's Home Society.  They collect clothes and household items for charity.  It is not a scam, and I have never been served with court papers.  I don't know what "oneslyone" is talking about.  I guess they are trying to be "sly" here.

This is not a legitimate charity caller.  They call themselves Charity Clothing,I just checked with the Missouri Attorney General's office, they are not a registered charity, and it is a no call violation for them to call anyone on the no call list.

I keep getting this call, but I don't answer it.  Why am I on the NO CALL LIST if they keep calling.

Its a company that represents charities it collects for.  Of itself, it is not a charity nor a not-for-profit organization.  State and Federal laws do apply but only if they don't tell you WHICH charity they represent when they call you. What they are is a thrift store that donates some of the proceeds of what they sell to the two charities they represent in the St. Louis area.   The company itself is a nation-wide chain of thrift stores.  Thrift stores are PURE PROFIT - objective is to make money.   If you want to donate to a specific charity with goods, contact that charity directly.  They will tell you to contact charity clothing but at least you've got a confirmation of what you're doing.

Alternatively, just route their calls to the State Attorney General's office, or back to them - or maybe a strip club.

THey're supposed to remove  you if you ask them to - but good luck with that.  They won't.  Expect a call three to four times in the same period every month - mine are always around the 4/5/6thf of the month.  I forward their calls to a long distance number - they pay for the call to the long distance number, not me.

This call is a sham!  It is a call from a process server, or so they say, to serve you with court papers because you are being sued.  They never tell you anything except for you to get your lawyer to call them.  It is a shame that they use a name such as "charity" because they are NOT.  They are terribly mean on the phone (when they decide to answer to  your hello) otherwise they hang up.  I am not being sued and I hope that "oneslyone" wins their suit!!!

They call themselves Charity Clothing Pickup and do call for clothing drives using charity names like Womans Another Chance, Childerens Home Society, Red Cross and The Saint John Blosco's Childerens Center.  The charities only get about 1% of the value of the items donated.  All of their calls are recorded and state clearly you want off the call list, if they call again file a complaint to the Attorney General, they then have to give them your phone recording and will get a HUGE fine.  They use a computer to blast calls and if you don't answer the line you get about 15 calls a day.  I hope this info helps everyone.

Robocaller or call center, big delay and then they say "Hello?"  - You called me, I didn't call you.

I don't understand why, when you answer the phone, they hang up?!  It's annoying.

"Charity Clothing" is just the Caller ID identifier.  I have donated to these people for years and they are perfectly legitimate, and they give a tax receipt from the American Red Cross.  They are just the "handler" that will pick up donations from your doorstep if you are too busy to drive your donations to the nearest Red Cross.  Be nice to them -- they are all volunteers and probably get an earful from most people who are used to money solicitations all evening, but all they want is the stuff you don't want anymore.

This is a business and I have received 3 calls this morning.  When we answer no one is there.  We have no business with you.

Its scam...if you call on this no they ask you to hold n never returns back. called 4 times now.

I keep getting these calls too but no messages and the display screens only shows the phone number.  I don't answer but have blocked future calls.
