I don't know who this is but they call me frequently and I don't answer. I don't know anyone in Missouri. Does anybody know who these people are?

Rang once, no message, no name/company displayed -- they called my cell which (along with our other numbers) is on the No Call list.  25APR2015

Who are these people? I am on a Feral NO CALL list and well as a State NO CALL list this number calls me frequently telling me I have gift card. I don't want any gift card and don't like people bothering me on an early Saturday afternoon. I did not answer, but call them back just to see who they were and they tell me I can receive a $100 gift card. I said I didn't want it and told them I would turn them into the FTC and they want to are with me. What can we do to sue these people? A class action would be great?

Rang twice, only, mid-morning, weekday. Caller ID gave only the number.

This number called my grandmother's phone this morning. When I called back they said I Won a few gift cards. I used to be a sales person and an actual call center and I know all the techniques forgetting peoples information which is exactly what this company was trying to do. They say they represent large companies like Walmart and Best Buy so you don't question them. They try to get your credit card information by saying it's for shipping and handling. They are nothing but a scam.

Got a call at 12:05 p.m. EST today. Phone rang only once. Looks like a scammer

WTF? One, no 1/2 A ring? I put it on "BLOCKED" call. [***]!

Received a call today as well, just rang once and hung up.

Looked up why someone would do that and found this:
When you check your cell phone and see a missed call from an unfamiliar phone number, it's tempting to call it back in case you missed something important. But this attitude (which could perhaps be described as a combination of curiosity and politeness) is being exploited by a particular subset of cell phone scammers known as “crammers,” who trick unsuspecting people into calling numbers that have extremely high fees attached.

So I wouldn't call them back.

I get calls like this usually once or twice a day; different number, different area code, hangs up after one ring. No use blocking the number because they will generate a new phony number

They call my husband frequently. He is on sites I don't approve of....  I think it stems from porn.
