Just got a call from this number. Didn't leave a message here either.

03-14-2013 @ 7:25 PM, UNKNOWN NAME - 314-499-8168 // Phone rang several times and didn't recognize phone number, so let answering machine take the call.  Caller didn't leave a message.  Internet search shows this call came from St. Louis, Missouri on a land line.  According to map provided, appears to be from the downtown St. Louis Area.  Probably a scammer trying to sell us something we don't want or need, or, trying to get personal information.  I'd still like to stick a shotgun up their butt and pull both triggers at the same time!!

No call list? Why do I still get so many bs calls from companies??? Caller id said St. Louis, MO, so I picked up - they didn't.

im local to STL so i picked up...of course no one is on the other end and it disconnected...so i called it back...referred to itself as Grasshopper...not sure WTH  Grasshopper is....

This number calls all day up to 9pm. I sleep days and work all night. This crap needs to stop!!!!! I am on the no call list!

I was on the other line when someone from that phone number called twice a minute apart. The number showed up on my caller ID but I did not cut off the call I was on to answer it.

I get so many to go calls, when the phone rings I put it up to my speaker, blast loud music into the phone. I'd say 3/4 of the calls are machines so it's useless but I do it for the other 1/4 who are human.

Caller ID shows phone number and a mix of letters and numbers as the caller vs. identifying who they are (Grasshopper), and of course, they don't leave a message.  They've been calling for weeks so I decided to call them back to get me off their call list.  I got a recorded message, punched a number to "speak to a representative", then got another message asking me to leave a message.  

I did leave a message: I'm not interested in the service you're offering so please take me off your call list.  Also, I'm on the Do Not Call list, so you might want to check into that.

Who in the world wants to hire a company who calls you, leaves no message, but then when you call them right back, doesn't have a human being there for you to talk with?  Their website boldly features the blurb, "Sound Like A Fortune 500 Company" but they clearly are incapable of doing that themselves.  How they have the nerve to pretend that they can do that for you is beyond me.  The idea that anyone would go for this nonsense- I can't even wrap my mind around it.

Got several of these calls over the last few days, I believe they are shilling some "I've fallen and I can't get up" monitor service. Time to use Ooma to block them. One year, this week, since we switched to Ooma. No phone bill and we can blacklist these annoying calls!

I have had the second call from this number within one week.Today I called the number back and was put on hold then a machine asked me to leave a message.I just hung up.I am 70 years old and too old for this crap.

Just got another call from this number.  This time a recording came on and it is an emergency alert for seniors. I pressed 1  to talk to a human being. When he came on I told him that I am on the NO CALL list and to take me off their list. I didn't appreciate the numerous calls from them. He said he would.  We will see.

Call left no message.  I blocked thanks to everyone on this page and their helpful information.  If we keep working together, we can make a difference.

I went to their website--www.grasshopper.com--and filled out a comment form asking them to take me off their list.  I didn't leave  my correct name and number, and I masked my email address, as well.  That does not interfere with a response from that site.  Here's hoping they do respond.  Can I block this number and how?
