I answered and she said she was Anne calling about a business matter and wanted to confirm my birthdate. I told her I didn't feel comfortable giving out my information to someone I didn't know and asked what company she was calling from and she just gave me her name again and asked for my birth year. I told her no and hung up.

This is a scam.

Asked for a name, but I didn't understand what she said. I asked, "Who?" and she hung up on me. I also received a call from someone, perhaps that number, stating it was an important business matter and wanted me to verify my date of birth. I told her I don't give out personal information over the phone and she hung up.

she wanted me to give her my full name and when I asked who she was she said give me your date of birth so i can verify who I am talking to first and I said not until you tell me who you are or who you are with I do not give my information to just anyone. She changed her tone of voice and said "OK I will just say you refused" and hung up the phone

called and had my name right, but, said they had an important business matter to discuss with me and wanted me to verify my debit card number, I hung up

Never answered the phone but got calls from the number DAILY and incessantly...finally blocked it after reading these posts.

This is so invasive. Why is there not legislation against this?!!

I got a message on my machine, they left no message. The lady just krpt askingbto speak to Sherry, so I wonder why they do not realize that an answering machine answered.I blocked my number and  called this number, but I just got a funny business signal.I dialed *67 and called and it said number was not able to complete with that serbice or call forwarding was activated.Next time they call, i hope i ansrwr and i, going to make up an answer to Dee where they are trying to go.We need to catch them and report them.I've stopped scams in the past.I will be back on to report what I find out.Let's all continue and do what we can to protect others as well as ourselves.I've found in The past these scammers use trunk lines off of businesses that have no id,a they are being used. The scammers are in a totally different state and sometimes another country.

They called my phone for the past e days in a row. Called them back and got the name. Receivable Solutions Incorporated, based out of St. Louis, Missouri.

The say it is a business matter wanting date of birth and told them no do not give any information out on the phone. She would not give me any information at all.

Same here she asked for my personal information twice and both times I told her I would not verify my name nor give her my date of birth or my social until she told me a few things, she would not even give me her name or business name nor why she was calling. I said well I'm sorry and she said she would just report me as hostile, well I guess that's what you will have to do then

This number has called my phone for the past couple of days. I answered it this evening and it was a guy stating his name was steve and they had an important business matter placed in their hands that I am the responsible party of. I just hung up on him. If they dont tell me where their calling from or specifically why their calling then they get hung up on. I made the mistake of falling for a scam not too long ago and im not falling victim again

These people have called me non stop for months. When I do answer they ask for personal information.  I do not give them any and ask who they are calling from or even who I'm speakimg with and they refuse and are very aggressive and rude. Getting very sick of the daily calls from these rude people.

Got a message to call back 877-249-2168.  But no other info given.  If you don't tell me who you are and who you are representing I don't call back or answer.

Caller asked for me by name.  When I asked who was calling, the caller ignored it and kept asking "is this ____"?  I said if you can't tell me who you are, then I can't help you.  This person has called multiple times, becoming nasty at times, threatening at other times, if I don't connect him to who he asked for.  He even threatened to come to my home, leaving a message saying he would see me at a certain time and day.

I've had multiple calls from the same number and have had the same problem.  They claim it's a business matter but won't say who they are or why they are calling.  They just keep wanting private information confirmed and get very rude.

This is a total scam.  They call me at least twice a day.  Claiming to be a bill collector.  When they asked me f or some personal information, I told them if they were a bill collector, then they would already have that info.  They then hung up on me.

Answered phone outta curiosity where I'm from RSI means rapid spontaneous intubation. Chick asked for someone I asked who's calling and she gave a name but spoke in a low whisper, her failed desperate attempt at sounding mysterious as if that would peak interest. Jokes was on that loser. I hung up.

I have received several calls as well from these people.  A lady asked to speak with Elizabeth which is me, I said yes your speaking with her.  Please verify your date of birth and address so I can discuss a business matter with.  I told her I do not give out my personal information over the phone that if she has my address to mail me something.  She said we have 3 times? I proceeded to hang up with her.
