A collection agency, didn't get the name but called about a debt more than 7 years old.

They have been calling relentlessly for almost 2  years now.  I changed to Verizon Fios and got a new phone number when I did - they are calling for someone who must have had the number before me.  When I answered once, the automated system said if you were not this person, press a certain # and if the person didn't reside at that phone number, to press another number, so I did, yet, they continue to call.

These jackholes have called my number and WORk number no idea who it is never leaves a message my supervisor called me and said they sounded very unprofessional. she was able to give me a number so I called them and they were looking for someone else that works with me, so I asked them to remove the numbers now.

Can anything be done to stop this?  I'm letting my attorney know about this.  I don't owe anyone anything.

They have called my work number twice. , I will report the number to the Attorney General's Office.  They leave no message and if it is a bill collector, they should not be calling place of business anyway.

I have no idea why they keep calling but I have them on call block now. At first I answered and no one was there. I got tired of them calling and not leaving a message.  Every morning at the same time they call relentlessly. I owe no one anything! Grrrr

You are very naughty by blocking this number this is a very important number set up to scam you in the right and proper manner so if you say that you owe nothing to anybody then you must owe something to somebody.

I DO NOT owe anyone anything,  if it was so important they should have talked with me when I answered or left a message!  Maybe you should put shame on yourself for getting into other peoples business.

They have repeatedly called my home number and tell me I owe a credit card bill several years old.  I have asked several times to send me information and they will not.  They have threatened to take my social security, bank accounts and all assets I have....

How long have you worked for them?

"Captain Kirk" had to have been joking, as he said the poster was "naughty" to have blocked this number, that he should have answered so they could SCAM him properly.

Use a blow horn when you get a real person on the phone.  They go deaf and you don't get anymore calls.

I don't have any debt and I'm getting them.
