unknown caller

This number called me and when I answered, it was an automated system. For anyone interested, it is against FCPA regulations to use an automated system for debt collectors. The number is for Credit Control Corporation.

This number called me twice one right after the other, but both times hung up before i could even answer the phone.

These people from CC LLC have been calling me.  I called the nmber back.  There is no annoncement on who they are just a recording saying please hold a representative will be with you shortly.  I finally got a person asked her who they were and why they were calling me.  After going thru my name and address she coldnt find me in her system to explain why they were calling.  She never answered about what kind of company they were all she said is it would take to long to explain.  Her excuse for the call were it must be a wrong number.  Talk about shady.

The same thing happens to me. They call me at least 5 times a day.

I recv'd a call from this number, hit ignore..... they left a message on my VM that said "This is not a sales call please call 800 287 3130 in regards to your account thank you".  After seeing these notes about this number obviously this is another type of phishing scam!

This was the Credit Control place.  Hadn't heard from a creditor in about 2 years. They always called the house. Then today they called my cell phone!  Ridiculous.

Hung up when I answered the phone.

Yes I think it's scam too, but how do you stop them?

Have gotten multiple calls from this number. Answered one time and was told that they were from Credit Control place and that they needed to speak with me. Had my name correct. I hung up on them.

I've gotten 3 calls from this number the first time I answered they had my name and last address correct. They said they were collecting a past debt and that I had to pay the whole amount with a Credit Card so it wouldn't affect my credit. This seemed kind of strange to me so I didn't answer the phone after that. Why would a debt collector insist for you to pay the full amount with a Credit Card?????

I keep getting these automated calls  about every 3-4 hrs. I wish more people would File complaints to the B.B.B about these Irritating bottom feeders.

Constantly receiving calls from this number.  I have repeatedly told them not to call again and remove my number.  They still call.

Recording stating "this is not a sales call, it is very important we speak with you" then no one comes to talk!! I get them calling me about once a week and each time the same thing, no comes to talk.

Called several times saying I owe on credit cards funny I don't have one

They call, it's automated, asked for me, couldn't even say my name right, at my place of work, so hit the buttons they suggested to be removed from this number.  Don't have a clue who they are, and don't really care as long as they leave me alone.  Not normally in at this time a day, so it was a fluke I answered the phone.
