this number called me 3 times but i did not answer

I got an unidentified message from this number, instructing me to call regarding my "private information."  I called the 866 number from an unidentified phone, and I had to ask twice to find out the name of the company, which they only said was "C.A.C.I."  I tried to get more information about what is CACI and what does it do, and they would not tell me, only saying that it was regarding my "private information," and they would not talk to me about details unless I gave them my name.  So, I said, "well then I'm not interested in talking to you."  

Sounded like a scam to me.  I googled "CACI" and nothing came up that looks like a company that would make secretive calls to people.  

I figured if they were legit, they would properly identify themselves... for example, "Consumer Aggravation Company, Inc., based in St. Louis, we are a company that does _______."  Since they didn't, I imagine there is a reason they are hiding, which is because NOBODY WANTS TO TALK TO THEM.

I Got Two Calls From This Number Today. When I Answer They Hang Up.

I also got two calls from this number and when I answer they don't say a word. I called the number back and the recording says it's CACI.  Don't have a clues as to who this company is.

this # calls me quite a bit, although not every single day.  i always miss the call and they never leave a voicemail.  must not be too important.  i tried calling it back once and just got dead air.

Called back again because I was fed up. Wrong number, and I still have no idea who the hell they are.

Looked up CACI and the letters stand for Consumer Adjustment Company Inc. and it says they are a debt collection company with a high success rate of "recovery."  The Better Business Bureau  (BBB) rates them a B+ with 38 complaints settled in some form or another, 12 of them in 2014.  They supposedly have no negative reviews but if they've had complaints the BBB has had to settle I'd say they've had complaints!!

I received lots of disturbance calls from this number. When you call back they don't answer.

When i answered today 7/13/16 they would not talk.

for whoever had this cell number before me...
Pay-day loans i did not apply for and for; surveys or
health insurance coverage that i do not need, when i answer they act like they called someone else... This is so annoying that i am ready to give up my cell phone!

I get numerous calls from this number daily, why do the keep calling.

They call daily, don't leave messages, don't state their intended business. Why would anyone deal with these people. So shady. Just tell me what you want and stop acting like some shadow government agency. (smh)

I just got a call from this number.  When I politely indicated "you have the wrong #," the caller rudely responded.  You don't know him.  I proceeded to say "no I don't, but if I did, it really isn't your business."  When I called the number back, they would not indicate whom they represented,

As with EVERYONE I get a call from this number daily. Blocked them but still see when they call. I answered the first time and they said my name , but when I ask whose calling they responded asking was I her. I said, you should know you called me. Now they wont stop. Although, BLOCKED still annoying. GEEZZZZZ

Said it was a personal business call. I immediately hung up.

I feel the same way about my landline. Its uselessand i get many of these types of numbers calling including this one!
