talked briefly with an african american woman who ws sportin a nasty 'tude.  Her tone was nothung short of harrassement

definate bill collector.they will not tell you who is calling till you you tell them who is calling.looks like a local number so you wont think it is a bill collector.They really think were stupid!

I've received a phone call from this number as well regarding my nephew. When I asked what is the business of the call, Ms. Valerie stated she couldn't release that information.  My nephew is 12 yrs old so what business would she have with this company.  After searching the web and the BBB this company is a collection agency and the name of the business is Consumer Adjustment INC/CACI. Send them a cease and desist letter and ask for there fax number and fax it to them. That will stop all the calls if that is what you are worried about.

314-842-6585  rang me this morning...not the 1st time....pain in the rear though. When I look it up it says CACI....according to other posts-it's a bill collector. Umm-I don't own anyone anything! Take my phone number OUT of your dang phone banks and stop harrassing people!

Saw the number on my phone, called back (yes I owe debt) and talked to a Gentleman.  He was very cooperative and understanding and easy to work with.  He started talking to me about my debt and who he represents and I did have to stop him and ask who he was with.  Which he understood.  He did give me his name right off the bat.

Was you rude to them?  I just talked to them and was nice and they were very cooperative and business like.

I told them to call the white house, since they have taken all the money and given it to their friends.

Well this is interesting.  I know it its a scam because my fiancé bought me my phone and it is still under his name.  I got this call and they were asking for him.  Its through Virgin Mobile pay as you go...so he couldn't owe anything..plus he tops up automatically every month.  Anyway..he DOES NOT give out that number to anyone as his number because he has his own service with another company.   No one knows that to be his number.  He doesn't even know the number because when he calls me its just through contacts..lol!  I asked the woman if I could tell him the info and she also told me that she couldn't release the info to me..so I told her that I was not going to release the info of his number, or that she called.  Thats was about a week ago and I still haven't heard anything....

They called me as well .I ask why my bank didnt contact me .They said i could pay of my credit card for 50% of wat i owe .I asked again why my bank hasnt contacted me .They said its no longer in the banks hands and i can pay cacui directly .I think its a scam someone let me know.

Just got a new cell phone activated. Got a call from this number less than 24 hours after the number was activated. They are barking up the wrong tree. No wonder the last person gave up this number. RUDE RUDE RUDE! Just leave me the hell alone!

314-842-6585 is CACI a collection agency for Laclede Gas Company in St.Louis,MO. I believe its their in house collection agency. They kept calling my number and wouldn't say anything. I finally called it back and thats who it was. I owed them money($158.00), but have been paying it down each month from the $550.00 balance. They will harass you often multiple times each month. It appears they don't note their accounts that another agent already harassed you.

Most times do not answer me. Other times rude.
