I received a text from this NY number, a person claiming to be Carrie. It was in response to a craigslist ad I posted in Texas where I live. The person did not answer my question about when/where to meet to look at the item I have for sale. He/she wanted my name and address and said they'd send a money order and would have an assistant pick up the item later. It wreaks of scam.

Another scumbag, craigslist ad responder, money order routine, sitting around at 5 am texting to screw people cause they don't have a reason to get up in the morning.Living high off the gov't.

Same thing happened to me today, same number and dialect of eng Lang was not acceptable

Just received text messages regarding a Craigslist posting I have in Milwaukee. Same thing as the others have reported, wanted my name and address to send a money order. Never requested to see the item! Not sure what kind of scam it might be, but beware!

I received a response to my Craigslist ad the same number texted me asking for my name and address so they could send me a cashier's check that I would receive in 3 days I told them I only do cash and in person and they said don't worry I'll arrange for pickup please send me your information so we can proceed.
