got a call from this number at 8:48 pm est. I did not answer and they did not leave a message.

They try to reveal you some problems in your PC reg. Windows XP/7. Quite curious...

They called @ 4:47pm EST to report a serious problem for my computer and they said they have my number and information from facebook!!!

Cant believe this! called and said Windows alert was sent to them from my computer then showed me some yellow and red flags in an event viewer (may or may not have been on my computer) transfered me to a tech specialist who wanted me to give him remote access. I did not.

Got a call at 8:10 PM.  Phone was charging so could not get to it in time.  Did not recognize this number so googled it.  I have had to post a fraud alert on my credit because of guys like this but from India.  DO NOT GRANT ACCESS TO THEm through 'LETMEIN 123'.

This East Indian female, rude and crude called today at 13:45 CST to tell me there was a problem with my internet. I demanded to be put on the DO NOT CALL LIST and she got rude and abusive. This is a SCAM...DO NOT CO-OPERATE with them and give them any info.

I live in Sweden. I got a call from this number today. I wasn't home to take the call but saw it on my CID. He left no message. I didn't recognize the number or the area code so I googled it and found out it's a scam number. Why is this guy calling numbers in Europe? How did he get my number? I talk by phone and Skype with lots of people in the States so maybe he somehow stole their address book, phone number list, etc., etc.

A guy with an indian accent was on the other end. The call seemed automatically dialed. First question: He wanted to know if "I own my phone #", which was a weird wording and set off a warning flag already. Then he said: "Oh sir I know you run a computer with the MS-Windows OS and there would be some problems that he wanted to investigate". I did not have the nerves to further continue that stupid conversation and hang up. I am sure its a scam. I am also a software developer for the last 20 years and being a MSDN subscriber I know that Microsoft would not contact by phone in such flimsy way. So people be aware and block this number on your phone, it does not look legitimate.

I have received multiple calls from India wanting me to log into their site. They even go so far to say that they can tell my computer has a virus. They also have said they are from Microsoft! I agree donnot log in to their site!

Scam city.  Lucky for me they managed to call on the phone I can block numbers on.

Recieved a call today an imediatly worried me as do not know anyone in Syracuse, NY (Popped up under the number) so let it go to VM. These seem to be offering debt advice this time, not as others here have said, computer issues. Without a doubt phishing/scam call.

Im in UK this number called me today. Tried to tell me he was from microsoft and my computer had critical errors. I asked which one as have more than one. He asked me to turn my computer on and would tell me my miscrosoft ID number to prove he was genuine. I asked which computer and he said they all go through the same IP address. I told him yes but they have different microsoft ID numbers. He started getting really aggressive and shouting at me down the phone saying its the windows vista one. After a couple more minutes of this cretin shouting at me I told him I didnt believe he was who he said he was and told him not to contact me again. We will see..... I contacted trading standards and called microsoft to see if they had called me. Surprise surprise they hadnt!!!!

They have called here three times in the past 90 days saying I have a problem with my computer. Didn't look on caller ID until after I picked it up today. I hung up on them as soon as they said in a thick accent "You have a problem with your computer."  Caller ID just says 315-458-7682 New York. I called back on cell phone and number was not in service. I'm in the US.

If Big Brother is watching, how can this keep happening?

"new york" on the caller ID.  Check 800notes.com for other comments. Some have said this to be a payphone in NY.  
Obviously another spoofed number  from the same Indian scammer.  There have been a lot of these calls  lately from many different numbers, many from NY,  for the same scam.
The phone companies can solve this problem.  However they are in cahoots with the scammers.  They both make money just by placing the calls. These calls will never stop until we come down on the phone companies and make it unprofitable for them.

Received a call today, stating they were the IRS and they had a lawsuit against me. I freaked out, luckily I called Lothamer Tax Resolution and they were able to identify the scam.

This is a scam call saying it`s the I.R.S. filing a lawsuit against me. They left a message to call a different number (202-407-9120. These are scammers all the way!!!! Do NOT answer these numbers or call them back !!! SCAMMERS !!!!!!! Nice try Hadji !!!!!!!

Got a call today saying it's the IRS and a lawsuite against me the left a message with a diffent number this is the number that was on my c.i.d.  315-458-7682 I don't know anyone from New York
