Phone came up unknown number and gave me this number to call about my $7000 government grant.  

Hank, did you get your money because this guy has been calling me for days but he wants $150.00 electronic voutcher up front!

I got a call from a none American by the end off the phone call calling me f you you pu@&$ mother f er don't think it's legit

My call was from a broken-english speaking person who said I received a grant for $7,950.00 on anything I want to use it with. He ask how I wanted to recieve it check or cash and I said check. He got mad and said check will take 30 days or more. OK,thats fine. I ask how was he gonna get me cash, you can't mail cash.  He then said I had a negative additute and he would have to cancel the grant, did I have any more questions.  Yes, I said, how do you get people cash?  He said Western Union I said great I have a Western Union 2 miles away send it.  He said No you already have been cancelled. He got all flustered when I was questioning him. I knew it wasa scam when I picked the phone up.  DON'T FALL FOR THIS, THEY WILL KEEP CALLING BACK.

I received the same call on a multitude of times and would ask him very in depth questions and he would hang up...a couple weeks later he would try again,  so when I questioned him on if it was really government issued why are you blocking your number so he gave me a number 315-625-1563,  I never called because I know its a scam just by the in depth questions I was asking him....so I would beware my friends,  if you have 150 to blow on this then u have 150 to donate to a local children charity etc. at least have your money go toward something worthy :)

LOL. I just got THE CALL...lol..such a scam. But I like to follow through with these. So I called the number. I refused to transfer $150.00 to him. He got very angry with me. So I started speaking to him in his own language. He asked me where I was from. I told him that I am a mut from America and that if he really wants to pull this scam off better, he should at least learn the language better of the people that he is trying to rip off. He got real pissed. LOL. I have reported them. They are saying that they are a government company from Washington DC. That's BS. So I reperted them to the fraud commission.

Just received a call from a man with a heavy accent! Told me I was eligible to receive a $7500.00 gov't grant! Gave me a money id number and instructed me to call 315-625-1563 to have money released!

Got the same call....and today they caught me on a "Good" day , I played their game and they told me I was randomly picked along with 1,599 other lucky tax paying Americans who always pay on time and for that the US Gov, was issuing me a one time only Grant in the amount of $9942.00, and the quickest way to obtain these funds was by MC/Visa Green Dot Card, to which I happily agreed too. A card which I must buy and open with at least $100.00 to activate. I told him that would be fine and I give him permission to just deduct from my amount..... well you would have thought I told him to kill himself or soemthing judging by his reaction all flustered and tongue tied...LOL.
But anyway I pretended to buy into his stupid reasons why he HAD to do it this way. I waited about 45 mins and called back with my card number (Old Visa gift card... like 2 yrs old) I told him I had just went on and deposited my paycheck on to this card and to apply my funds, I could have swore I heard dollar signs clinking over the phone...lol. He was so professional and polite giving me my confirmation number and all, telling me that was it, and to enjoy my funds and thanks for being a good ole hard working American, and then the phone went dead....that is for about 10 mins when he called back insisting I MUST have given him the wrong numbers as I expected he would, and wanted me to read them back to him which I did mixing up the numbers for added fun,twice. Then he said are you stupid !!! Which cracked me up,I told him no ...not stupid after I made my self stop laughing and told him.... Thank you for talking so long and detailed I work for the US Federal Grant Dept.(Not the truth) and we have just traced your where-abouts and will see you soon....Well needless to say he hung up in a NANO sec....and didnt even say goodbye I tried dialing his number RIGHT back and he would not answer....that shyt was FUN.

Got a call from this guy.  Caller ID showed a number from Long Beach WA.  Call back that number and it says no such number.  Gave me a code and a number to call 315-625-1563.  Asked where he is located and he gave me an address in Washington DC.  Looked up address and it comes up as no such address.  Can't even report number to Federal No Call agency since it is a bogus number from Washington state.  

these people have been calling me for mouths saying I was approved for a grant for 9200$. I asked how I would get it and they told me to put money on a green dot card. of course I did not do it

its for real you should go for it and enjoy your grant money

I just got a call from this number saying that I was selected for a federal grant in the amount $9,200.00 but I had to send them $150.00 on a green dot paper voucher???? Ummmm...NO DON'T DO IT!!! It's a scam!!!

my caller had that same broken English. I was told I will receive 9,000. government grant then I could no longer understand him thought he said he needed to text something to me he said no can have sex with me he will pay. I asked him "what did you say" he repeated himself  I call me a pervert and hung up.

FRAUD ALERT - #1 - The US Government Grant office would not call random people to give away money to spend however we want.  How can I get these people to stop calling!!!  It's always someone different but I have had at least 3 calls yesterday and 2 today.  I know it's a scam.  Sometimes I just keep them on the phone long enough to waste their time since they are wasting mine, but I'm really tired of it.  The last one I told to take my number off their list because of the number of calls I'd gotten over the last 24 hours and to stop harassing me.  He said "I'm harassing you?  Well I'll call you a hundred times a day then!" Oh - the grant amount has gone down from $9,000 yesterday to only $7,800 today.  Yes, they want me to pay "Western Union" the $125 fee - it's Western Union's fee.....whatever.

i got a call from a none english man he told me his name was colvin nash and he told me i was getting 9200 but i had to get a green dot money pak voulcher for 245 and let him know when i did it i told him u dont send money to get free grant miney no way he was trin to get me to understand he was not callin from a gov place me myself dont believe him

Hindu sounding male calls and says you have a federal grant waiting for you in the amount of $7849.00, tells you to call his immediate supervisor back at 315-625-1563.  I'm tired of having my cell phone number being called by sales reps/scammers doing cold calls.  Anyone know how to get them to stop?  You used to be able to go to optout.com but that doesn't exist anymore........any suggestions?
