Report a phone call from 315-636-5295 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- KenSome jerk who spoke broken English called my 86 year old mother claiming to be an officer with the IRS and that she had to call this number back immediately. I called the number and said I was from the IRS at which point the person hung up. I called back several more times and each time they hung up.
- mabA machine left me a message about a case. Called and a recording says caller not accepting calls at this time. A few mins later I get a call from Greece. I've been getting the call from Greece about 4 times now. I don't have anyone in Greece +30 58841101.
- RebeccaReceived a computer call that we were being sued by the IRS and to call the telephone 315-636-5295. Some person with broken English answered claiming to be an officer with the IRS and that we were being sued by the IRS. Stated that they sent us notifications in Dec 2014 & Jul 2015 about an audit done with our taxes and there was a miscalculation. When I stated we never received anything and I needed some documents, they said they could not do anything now and hung up. I presume this is a scam.
- StacksSome lady called spoke broken english saying she's from the IRS said I was being sued for a case pending. She had my address and town which I lived and the last name. She wanted my first name i would not give it. I told her if she called me she should have that information she hung up.
- SofiBe wary, they first leave you a voicemail message stating that the IRS is auditing you and they need a call back immediately. Once you call, officer "Jerry Williams" (a Latino or Indian woman, go figure) will proceed to get your full address and name. They seem to know some parts like what city your living in and your last name. He/she will then tell you the IRS has an open lawsuit against you and that an officer is coming around shortly to arrest you. Don't fall for this trap! He then proceeded to transfer me to a "Christian Cole" (thickest Indian accent i ever heard) who not only got the audit years wrong but when i inquired where he was calling from he said Washington and then changed it to Washington D.C. We basically got into a back and forth with me calling out these inaccuracies until i went here and read out some of the comments. After that he hung up immediately!!!!
P.s: officer Williams will give you a badge number in order to seem more legitimate and when I talked to them their English seemed fine but highly accented. - MichaelThis is the number that called me this morning: 315-636-5295
They first left an automated voicemail that stated they were from the IRS. I almost went to my bank to withdraw money b/c they told me a lien was going to be put on all my accounts. I am angered right now.
They gave me a "case number" and told me I was going to be arrested if I didn't resolve the outstanding amount immediately. They gave me some amount of around $6,000 and told me my taxes weren't filed properly for certain period of time. I kept pushing for more information. They told me they already mailed documents twice (to a wrong address but in a state I formerly lived in). I asked to speak to someone else and they finally hung up.I was on the phone with them for nearly 30 minutes. Unbelievable!- Call type: Debt collector
- JMGReceived robocall stating that they were from the IRS and were filing lawsuit against me, and asked me to return call to their number. I called back and spoke with a man (very broken English) who identified the office as the IRS and himself as Eric Smith - I asked him for his officer number and he stated 202-414-5133. I asked what they did at this office and he stated that I wouldn't understand. I asked him to clarify and he said that they train girls. I asked what they train girls for and he responded "we train girls to give bl*wjobs". I hung up at that point. Clearly NOT the Internal Revenue Service. I filed complaints with the FCC regarding the call and would suggest everyone else do the same.
- Caller: IRS
- Gregg MillerClaimed to be the IRS
- Caller: IRS?
- JoseKReceived a robocall to call this number. Machine noises, poor line (VOIP?) thick Indian accent says I've called the IRS, he's "Officer Steven Miller, badge number "9307". I said I had been given this number because the IRS had filed a lawsuit againstt me. He said "yes, we have" - without knowing my name, address or anything. He next requested the phone number I was calling him. (IRS too poor to afford Caller ID?) I told him I thought he was scamming me and would call the IRS. He hung up. Ha!
- CJWThis number left a message on my 79 year old Mother's phone. They said it was the IRS and that it was the last phone call regarding the case. I called them back and they asked for the number they had called, so I said "is this the Internal Revenue Service"? And she hung up. She sounded like the call may have been from India. Checking with IRS next to see if they are aware of these scammers!
- Caller: IRS (not)
