Called me - hung up - called back as it was a business phone - requested hit any number to continue -  said would take place in 24 to 48 hours - SCAMMERS DO NOT CALL BACK EVER!

dont waste your effort. they have your number. only one way to stop..answer the phone, demand NICELY a supervisor.
or have the clerk remove you from their list.

We are on the do not call list ( canada ) .  We are a busy body shop / towing company with
4 phone lines going.  Getting sick of these pain in the butt calls.  Very  annoying !!!!!!!!!

These people call me every single day from a different area code.  I did wait for a real person once and asked to be removed from their list.  The guy was very rude and hung up on me!!!  I have no idea how to make them stop.

I've been doing this for weeks and weeks (they call me daily) but they just call again from a different area code.

They call spoofing the "caller" in caller id to reflect, "LOCAL"  (soooo clever).  I do not answer and use my samsung to send a rejection with a silly message, "I'm at the movies" or "I am shampooing the family tiger".  Yet, they still call and I do not answer.  Sheesh, they are using up my MY MY MY cell minutes.  This should be illegal, wait!  IT IS ILLEGAL, as I have been on the DNC since getting this cell in 2005.  More sheesh.  We need our EXISING laws to be freakin' enforced!  Should I report this telemarketing violation (calling a # on the DNC list) AGAIN?????  Why?  FTC did not penalize the caller, aka the imaginatively named, "LOCAL" the first, fifth or fiftieth time "LOCAL" broke the law....yet more sheesh.
WAKE UP AMERICA, we need lawmakers with the courage to enforce EXISTING LAWS, not write more laws that I have little confidence would be enforced (unless Liberty, Tea Party, Constitution or Libertarian is part of their name, IRS abuse anyone?).  Finalmente, lots of sheesh!

Why doesn't the FTC enforce it's do not call registry? Why did I even bother? Calls like this at 2 times a day. More calls per day than before I registered with the FTC DNC list.

When I answer the call there is a recording that makes no sense and you cannot understand.
