This eastern voice guy called me and said that I must pay within 3 hours the money from this Cash Advance America, or I will be prosecuted arrested and to do prison time..ohohoh. I asked for proof or an address of this company and he would not comply, I told him I was filing Chapter 13 and I needed his address to add him to the payees, but he would not comply, so I gave him my attorney's name and phone #, he said he would call to confirm it and then call me back, thank you, oh it’s really funny that his number that he called me on is magic jack that is traced to New York. They think there getting untraceable phone numbers. haha, dumbasses. Next time I guess we are too just pay them what they want without nooo proof of anything, zip, nadaa, just hand over money to them because they said so?? or they will talk mean to us.
How they do it is, they put up bogus payday loan sites and when you fill in your personal info they have it all and then use it or sell it to other idiots and harass you with dumbass stories to trick you into paying them. I fell for one already, but never again!

Yeah they keep trying to say I defaulted on a cash advance. This has been going on for over a year now with Indian sounding guys claiming they are from the American law agency or something like that. I told them to send me a record of that & surprisingly they have yet to do so...imagine that... don't fall prey to these bozos...

This foreign accent man call my cell phone number today September 20, 2011 and said that I had a loan from PayDay and they were calling to collect. He said I took this loan out on November 20, 2010. That if I didn't pay legal actions would be taken. I told this person, that I have never taken out a loan with any body and if I needed to take out a loan I would borrow from my union. And if I find out that anybody used my social security number to take out a loan that I was going to sue them and the person on this phone connected to this number. I hung the phone up in his face.

How do we get these people?

This is only 1 of many phone numbers that this same guys uses. I there anyway to stop or block the calls? The police says just ignore it, but I want the calls to stop. Sometimes he says he's an attorney or an officer with the National Bureau of Finance (Oh sure) sometimes. Hurray for magic jacks every where

Never Answer These Phone numbers. They are "STUPID INDIAN SCAMERS" ...couldnt even understand what they were saying but i know they are "CRIMINALS".
PLEASE Don't give them any chance best way is don't pick up  your phone.
Also,They might even would call your work and harras you so make sure you want to tell your boss or other employe

Ya, these guys have been calling me for a year now, The first time they said they werea crime prevention agencey, and that i was bieng leagally procecuted and would be in PRISON for this claim if i didnt send them $80, then they wanted my info, but had NONE of my actual info cept name and # . i called the police who informed me it was a scam, and was given FULL permmission to even cuss them out. i JUST got called by them, called back, and they Oh so Proffessional group had a [***] YOU calling contest on the phone with me. i calmly told them that folks like them were a reason folks believed in HELL in the first place and to go screw themselves, when called by these scammers, call them on all there threats, but give out NO personal info. oh they will keep calling back, its what they do... worry not, and give em a big [***] YOU from me!!!!!

receive calls from this number repeatedly demanding a call back.  leaves message saying he is from law enforcement agency & if I do not call back I will be arrested at my place of work in the morning.  calls numerous times a day

This is a scam company calling anyone associated with pay day loans.

Threats, threats, threats.
My guess this is some company, bringing in folks,  selling this idea and giving a phone to low lifes who call you and threaten you if you do not give them a credit card over the phone.

We have had male, female, Eastern, Southern, Western.... all sorts of types call us.

When we asked them for their address..... nothing, no fax. nothing.

Wouldn't it be nice if you had a space laser, enter their number and bang, their gone right out of their seats.

I received a call today..but I just forwarded that call. They use to call all the time...so I started calling them..I called and when they answered, I would hang up..and I kept doing it ..I believe I called like 40 times back to back.....They told me please stop calling this phone ..I said hell no..now you see how other people feel..They left me alone for a few months ...

They claim I owe some payday loan.  If I didn't pay today that they would prosecute me and take me to court for the money.  I ask for something in writing from their company but he wouldn't give me that. He read off my address and said that should be good enough to prove he is telling the truth.  They are scammers just trying to get you to send them money.

I got a similar call and its a scam.  Don't sent them any money.  They said I was going to be charged with money laudring, I askd them what I owed, he said $352.00.  Are you kidding me?  To a company I don't owe !  This is crazy, but scary people get your information like this.  Lifelock here I come!!!!

I got a  call from this number - they claimed they were from the Department of Justice - Fraud Division.  They wanted either me or my attorney of record to call immediately or I would be arrested.  Isn't representing yourself as a government agency FRAUD???
