I keep getting calls from this and other numbers. They hang up when I answer. Why?

we received a phone call from this number and the person we did not know announced that they were "recording the call." i told them they had the wrong number and hung up immediately. clearly a spammer. when i asked who this was, they said the name of a person we did not know, but seemed to act as if they knew us or pretended to know us. BEWARE. FRAUD !

Someone called This place of business on the general line for an employee of our company and said this is a recorded line.
Sounds like a bill collector.

This number keeps calling my place of work, my family, and my personal cell phone claiming they are calling about a student loan. It is a complete scam. I pulled my credit report to find nothing on there. Every time they call they claim they represent premier credit or department of education. They ask to verify the year i was born, the last 4 of my ssn# or my mailing address. When i said they should have that information they claim they cant go further. Its now september 2015 and they still call after i ask them to remove my numbers since july 2015. I have reported them to the police and will keep doing so until they stop. I finally told the caller to f off so maybe that will make them stop!

This is premier credit that is calling you guys. Its a loan collection agency
