This number called me, I let it go to voice mail but they called right back. It was an automated message saying something along the lines of "you're probably paying too much for car insurance, press 1" to be scammed. Sorry I didn't pay closer attention to the details.

Same thing. I hung before hearing all the options after "Press 1 to..."

They start off by saying something about a release of information from an "official" sounding organization (maybe something close to DMV?) and then go to the "You're paying too much for car insurance."

Just got a call from this number.. let it go to voicemail and no message was left.

Calling cell phone that is on a no call list

I got a call from this number. I let it go to voice mail, they left nothing. I like that we can post this stuff to help each other who's doing the calling.

I received a call from this number, didn't recognize it so did not answer. and I don't have voice mail. So I can't get messages.Therefore, this call didn't cost anything on my cell phone. It I answer it cost a quarter just to listen to a bunch of b.s. No thanks. Not when I can look the number up on here. Thank you for this option.

Got a call from this number on a business cell phone, they had the same automated message about saving money on car insurance but I waited and listened, I hit 1 indicating I was "interested" and was transfered to someone who I promptly told to remove my number from their listings. That's usually all these situations take. I don't expect to be called by this number ever again.

Received an automated call from 317-755-0052 stating they were calling from a phonelist authorized by the Bureau of Motor Vehicles (to make the call sound official). Then they immediately went into a sales pitch for car insurance. Recommend following up with filing online complaint. http://www.in.gov/attorneygeneral/2433.htm

I got a call from this number. It appears that it was someone from the future. He knew how many children I would have and when I would leave this earth. God bless this man.

This was an aout message from State Farm Insurance asking if I was paying too much for insurance. I am on the Do Not Call List in Indiana.

Glad I looked this # up before answering! My story is the same as everyone else. I'm also on the do not call list for IN. Heading over there now to report this #. Good luck everyone!

I just saw that I had a missed call from this number so I looked it up and it says it's a life insurance company. Weird.

These people are rude...I called the number back and it has an option to "press 3" to be taken off the list. When I pressed three it said that it was an invalid extension. When I called to speak with someone the gentleman that I spoke with cut me off and immediately hung up on me when I said that I did not want their insurance but would like to be taken off their calling list.

Bad news about filing that complaint. Insurance companies are exempt from our Do Not Call list. It's right there at the bottom of the complaint form:

Yep, it's a car insurance scam.  I opted to press #1 and Jim answered it and immediately said "you want cheaper car insurance today!" .... - When I asked Jim where he was calling from, he hung up!

I found this was an insurance scam.

Got a call to solicit for insurance. My cell # is on the do not call registry. I called them back during my break at work and asked to have my # removed from list. She said ok and hu. I called back to give the information they needed to remove the # as well as to advise that the number is on the dnc registry only to be hung up on repeatedly. Wow! Truly I wouldn't do business with a company whose employees would treat a potential client this way. Imagine how they treat their actual clients!!!

I just got my cell phone bill and there was a $103.00 charge on it for a call using 317-755-0052.  I was in Europe at the time, which I had an Itn'l plan for, and used not many minutes for my 30 minute plan.  I am so disgusted.  I finally found this website who would give me the info free and I'd sure like to see this outfit put out of business.  There was never a msg left, I have no idea how they compromised my phone that way.
