I also had this missed call on my work phone. When tracing it, it traces back to a landline in Fairmount, IN to a communications company...but i have no idea what/who they are and why they're calling me!!!

Found Out who they are.... Looks like an internet company telemarketing to cell numbers..

This is the back door phone number from IU Medical Hospital Center. My wife is currently at the IU Simon Cancer Center, and this is the number that comes up on the Caller ID here at home, but it only her calling me from the hospital.

I as well saw the number on my caller ID.  So I did the look-up like everyone else on this page, then decided to dial it back and see what they wanted.  Here  is word for word the message that I recieved:

"Thank you for calling Indiana University Health.  You have reached an invalid number.  If you need further assistance, hang up and dial 317-944-5000.  Again that is 317-944-5000.  Thank you."

They called me and I have no idea who they are

well i'm not a patient there and don't know anyone there now, so it makes no sense for this number to call me. so that's strange.

Got a cell phone call from this number.  Suppose to be on the no call list.

317-948-9899 is the Simon Cancer Center at IU Health, Indianapolis.

This is the number that shows as the caller ID when a patient calls from their room at the hospital.

I just received a call from this number. The caller apologized, saying he'd dialed the wrong number. Hmm.

I am with the IU Health Telephone dept. This is the Main University and Riley Hospitals Phone mask. A mask being the generic number that is on the phones of people that dont want you to call them back directly. This is not a Ficticious number and it will redirect you to 3179485000 which is the IU Health Operater.
